I was there in Aneheim while.....they were building the Haunted Mansion. Was at WDW in 1970 while they were first building alot of rides too. For my 50th my daughter and son in law took me to Sanibel Island! It was wonderful I'm now 60! Happy Birthday Adam! 🧁.

Thunder Mountain is my favorite too! One day I’ll get to Disneyland and ride the Matterhorn so maybe that’ll change but I doubt it. Just like how Katie held her Mickey Ears, that’s exactly what I was doing yesterday. Went to Disney’s Hollywood Studios yesterday and rode Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway, Tower of Terror, Star Tours, and rode Rise of the Resistance for the first time ever. My ears did not want to stay on! It’s hysterical how all you did on BTMR was comment “Best Remove ‘Em” while with Best Life and Beyond and Katie couldn’t stop laughing about the hat!! Too much!! Loved the fun pic at Haunted Mansion. Now every August 10th when you’re celebrating your birthday… I’ll be celebrating it as my debt free day. Just dropped off my final debt payment today at the Kissimmee post office. It’s a great day to celebrate both 🎊🎉. Happy Birthday again!! 🎊🎁🎈🎉🎂🎁

I don't know what day you were actually there but I was there on August 9th with my friend and his 2 sons. We yelled and screamed like idiots on all the rides. It made it so much more fun. I skipped the Murderhorn because it just kills me with all the pain. Also, Rise of the Resistance is the best ride EVER. P.S. Happy Birthday

Happy birthday Adam!! I think if you go to City Hall if you lost an item on an attraction, they will try to get it and send it to you. It looked as though your cap would have been very easy for them to get after the park closed. LOL This video had me laughin'. I feel for ya losing your cap! I always flip mine backwards on the coasters and it stays firmly in place. Couple of hints about the Matterhorn, Adam (you probably already know these). The front is the smoothest. It's also a lot smoother if you ever go on it in the rain. I have also found that if you brace yourself really tightly and make sure your feet are planted firmly against the seat in front of you on the floor of the sled and you brace your arms and press against the bar while pressing your back against the seat back, it keeps you from being jostled all around and being banged up. Well, at least not as badly lol The more loosely you sit in the sled, the worse it bangs and slams you around. The worst thing to do is raise your hands on it. I did it once for the entire ride and was so sore and bruised afterwards!

I was watching Ordinary Adventures and they were told by a cast member to not put your back against the seat during the ride and you won't have the back pain on Matterhorn. They tried it out (staying forward by holding the seat in front of them) and said it worked.
