You are good to act in a diplomatic way towards hostile people. You don't wine or complain or seem to get overly emotional when things don't go as planned. You don't act unappreciative or selfish, like the 'world owes you a living'. Your tact, patience, understanding, and overall pleasantness are what makes you such an enjoyable person to watch:) Your lack of conceit and vanity are commendable as well.

I'm with you 100%. Although this video was made 4 yrs ago, I found it now, watched it all the way to the end, and became a follower; all without a promo or recommendation; organically, like you said. Best of luck my friend, really. God bless !.

Here's what I think. I pay for every form of entertainment; Hulu, Netflix, movies, TV, CDs, etc, etc. You provide us with DAILY entertainment. Why should we expect you to do that for free? Patreon is not donation; it's payment for the entertainment you provide.

Adam. I Love your videos and travels and your sense of humor. I have traveled and moved around all my life as well. I just seen your Oklahoma video where you revisited your old stomping grounds. It was reminiscent of many such visits I have done in my life time. Then this video came up. Live simply. I learned this after my husband passed away several years back. We were together from age 16. I often ride a long with you on your adventures wishing I too was along. As for me I say keep spreading positive vibes. Ignore the haters. You are a gem. Much Peace and Love to you who I call my friend. Thank you 🙏😉😎

We appreciate you being you and for being as transparent as you are to share how you made the decision to live simply. P.s. that angry fellow scene took place in front of Sycamore elementary school which I attended in the early 90's. Crazy that for the past 6 or so years you lived/frequented Orange, CA, you were just blocks from me and we never bumped into each other until just this year at an Angels baseball game just down the street from this video's location. God bless you!

Adam I get to see these videos for -free and I love your work -it costs me nothing (although I have brought a shirt and will buy more) -so please continue to do what you do as your work is most valuable to me - most of us understand how this works but for those that don't -thank-you for explaining -we/they don't really need to know - how you make money out of your craft is your own business BUT ..thank you for explaining because it helps others who might feel they would like to start their own channels and helps others to understand how a small business on you tube works -so you are educating these people and while they may not always ask appropriately(sigh) , they are just curious people and like I said: most of us get it and always got it - and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your sense of adventure and your own wonderful curiosity - have faith in us too - love from a Woovian

So many people would love to travel and explore the United States but either aren’t able or don’t have the time. Pretty little grass glider airfield down a ways, not that far. Gliders, landing, taking off, right there in front of you, mountains in the background. Towed by nice little Super Cubs. Gliders riding the thermals over the mountains. Off the beaten path, absolutely free, great place for a cooler food lunch, YUMMO ! Great vids ! Also spent four years working outside in N Dakota. USAF

Andy Page My husband grew up with Goldberg & they are still friends. So while he was wrestling & every time he came back to Tulsa we always partied all night. (glad those days are over). Anyway, Over that time we met several of the wrestlers. We met Rick Flair & yes, he was as arrogant as on tv. But the one I’ll never forget was Chris Benoit. I figured the reason he never smiled on tv was just his image. But when I was introduced to him he just nodded his head. I watched him playing pool & still never saw him smile! I never really saw him have a conversation with anyone. He was a strange.

Excellent vlog Adam. One of the very first films I watched from you was the Van Dwelling one. It was very good and how you got to that point really made sense. Paying off the van and living simply.............. that said, your simple way of life brings huge pleasure to me and I am sure hundreds and hundreds of others. Your always honest in your videos, and by not going down the heavy advertising route means you sacrifice a lot to be fair for our pleasure. I see others on here that earn pretty big money from KZbin. Thats fine, and sometimes the quality of the footage may be better because they buy top dollar items, but to me, I feel that you lose some of the atmosphere and passion that you bring and add to your vlogs and videos. I am so looking forward to your up coming journeys I wish you safe and happy miles in your van and keep doing what you do best.

Alex Honnold (guy who free soloed El Capitan) also lived in his van for years. Two guys who have done things of note, albeit in very different mediums. I think it is an indicator of what they are willing to give up (comfortable and conventional life) in order to pursue whatever it is they are passionate about. Also, I recently read that content creators only get money from ads if we watch for at least 30 seconds. So, for content creators that I like, I will stop skipping ads (at least until 30 seconds).

Adam, you're NOT putting ads and monetizing your videos? WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT? Seriously! According to SocialBlade, if you were monetizing your main channel you could be earning around 5.7 THOUSAND DOLLARS A MONTH/68.8 THOUSAND A YEAR. I don't mind skipping an ad and that money would help you a lot travelling around and making MORE awesome videos... think about it! I don't think your main subscribers would mind skipping or even watching an ad before your video. I know I wouldn't ;)
@gregorykennerly23218 жыл бұрын
+Junior Casemiro Ads don't bother me one bit. I can skip them after 5 seconds, or go to the kitchen while they're playing, or - on occasion - actually watch them. If ads would benefit Adam, I'd be for monetizing the videos as this would in no way diminish the quality of the video's content.
@Jimmy-Mc8 жыл бұрын
I think it's just the film locations he doesn't monetize, he does for the rest.

i agree 200% DO IT WOO! but what Universal did by making money off his videos is actually illegal! Adam is totally abiding by fair use!!! They wont stop until they are confronted!!
@MidagedgamerBlogspotter8 жыл бұрын
I've fought with Universal and their flunkies UMG. They're bastards and bullies. Adam is way too kind to them. Fair use, unfortunately, is a defense not a law meaning it's only useful if you get sued. Now if you try to monetize the contested video fair use gets a lot harder to prove. However, if I did a video of a publicly accessible filming location like a mall or public street and someone like Universal tried to steal it from me I'd fight tooth and nail.
@VLOGNOSIS8 жыл бұрын
Wait, is Universal getting ALL of his ad revenues? If so, I'm going to close all ads on his channels. I let them run because I've been thinking he was getting some monies...
