Space control is definitely a major factor in order to become a smooth dancer. Very important information to know, and to master it🙂

[I'm moving this comment from your last video to this video, having new ideas, so you have everything in one place🤗] From the beginning of my Career [September 2021], my instructors said to me to have connection and not to do big steps when preparing, say, an Enchufla or a Cross Body Lead and other moves. And this video contains VERY GOOD tips! Here some ideas: What about a video about Loops techniques to turn the Follower and the differences between these and regular turns? Also, what about a video talking about benefits of a Leader doing the Follower "Role" and vice versa? A Very Good dancer told me, in fact, that this could be a Very useful exercise to know as a Leader, for example, what a Follower needs and wants to feel in order to lead in a Good way. Also it can help to have a better connection and fun with the partner, and so on! I tried this sometimes and it is actually REALLY FUN! Also a bit scary, in a Good way, because sometimes there were so many people dancing that I have understood the Importance of Space and the Importance of taking care of your partner as a PRIMARY thing. This last thing could be a potential third idea for a video: taking care of your partner related to space and safety! Also, what about a video about Body Equilibrium and Frame Position? Also, I will buy the Course when I will make a little bit more Money, but I will buy it FOR SURE!

@@gabrielemarchioni567 Glad you enjoyed the tips! And you read my mind on some up those video ideas. They're already in the queue! Ill definitely add learning the other role. It helped me a lot when I was learning too. It's a no-brainer exercise we should all be doing. When you say body equilibrium, what do you mean? I'll keep talking about frame in the videos. Might have covered it in another video, not sure. Thanks for the love and sharing you're great ideas Gabriele! Can't wait to have you on the inside of the program :) -Robin

When I'm talking about Body Equilibrium I am referring to the posture we Need to mantain in order to not injure our Body with wrong movements: our knees, our back, our shoulders and so on! Maybe I have missed some of your videos, almost impossibile, but still😂

Who and when? Me! When I'm not comfortable or trying to keep distance when I do NOT want to dance close or he's really sweaty.

👍Talking about principles, it's good to view distance as a parameter that you are able to adjust and play with, and being able to decide what makes sense at which distance. Yes, doing stuff with arms does not make sense at some distances, there are other things better suitable to do then. This is a basic (=general/fundamental) principle, so this all should be part of basic teaching.

Excellent video. Great tips that are basic fundamentals. Mastering these simple basic techniques makes dancing easier, more fun and smoother. When first learning Salsa these principles were not highlighted. Was taking group lessons and decided to take private lessons. Best investment I ever made in Salsa. Big dancers are not fun to dance with regardless of leading or following. The lead should control this distancing. Keeping close together was the best lesson I learned. Nothing more annoying than big step dancers on a small dance floor! And they do not look impressive as many new dancers falsely assume and try to emulate.

Totally. Taking big steps without a clear reason/intention for doing so makes things a lot harder than they need to be!

@@thedancedojo Unfortunately, I observed most new Salsa dancers develop the habit of taking big steps. It makes their dancing experience less enjoyable for themselves and their partners. I appreciate your videos and learn some new pointers each time I view them. Thank you for all your efforts and time spent on videos helping me to become a better Salsa dancer.
