My son had a Super 10 on his 2001 Silverado 5.3 and it sounded great at idle, but was just too loud in the cabin to talk or listen to the radio. If you are married, that could be a plus though. We replaced it with a Hush Trush and it still has a throaty sound but has much less interior drone.

I'd say the Flowmaster has a "lower" sounding tone to it. The Cherrybomb more "high" pitched. Subjective opinion.

I've always been a fan of Cherry Bomb mufflers. Flowmasters really don't flow all that well and have a tinny, empty trashcan sound.

To anybody that has a V6 and can't get it quite the way they wanted to sound with a lower grumble try the Flowmaster 40 I've done the 44 I've done the super tens I've done it all just like this guy but for my v6s I cannot believe the Flowmaster 40 makes it sound that good that's just my opinion but you do not get the rice or sound you'll get like a more of a lower Grumble throaty sound from your V6

The Flowmaster has deeper throaty lurk lurk lurking sound to it that makes the Flowmaster come out on top with sound but the cherry bomb aint bad at all for a discount muffler....but i gotta ask can you do a video on the black widow Venom muffler .....Thanx.

The super 10 sounds better. It has a deeper throaty and flowing sound. As for the cherry bomb sounds raspy and chattery.

Flowmaster sounds better. More bass, and still tinge of that classic Flowmaster sound. I think the 🍒 bomb sounds a little better at regular idle though. Under acceleration the cherry sounds raspy and seems to crackle a little bit. If I were to buy I’d spend the little extra money on the Flowmaster. Great video Dan 👍

They Definitely sound different and the Super 10.sounds better. A little more Bass. The Extreme has some almost annoying highs. Have you ever thought about testing any Walker Ultra-Flo Mufflers. I may be a little partial as they are made near me. They claim to have the same flow as basically a straight pipe. The one on my Jeep was pretty quiet though.

I plan on installing a Cherry Bomb Extreme Muffler and cut my Cat and resonator and straight pipe my 2003 Dodge Stratus SXT. Thanks for the video definitely made my decision the Extreme sounds Awesome!

Lower Rpm definitely the cherry bomb but at higher Rpm the Super 10. Although without cats probably the Super 10. I know that its probably not intended but I wonder how much would change if the mufflers were reversed, might sound horrible though I don't know.

There is a difference. Extreme sounded more raw. Flowmaster was deeper, bassier, and throatier. As for the different plates. Flowmaster has the delta flow. Which is suppose to offer better scavenging plus drone reduction. Extreme has an offset wing design. Its supposed to give a high and low pressure to give a better flow. I've ran both, both are just fine. I prefer the Flowmaster. Granted its more pricey but, I think the quality is worth it over the budget brands.
