For anyone who has this kind of saber, go to the hardware store and pick up pipe pieces. Flexible pvc couplers work wonders for making your own combinations and likewise pvc pipe. I've found that the piped are slightly too big or small for just the saber but I just used some ballon to fill the gap.

@@TerrorToku sorry but you guys gotta ask more detailed questions than “are they good for dueling”. Dueling means something different to everyone, your siblings could 4 years old or they could 14 years old. Dueling could be simple play fighting or it could mean hitting hard as you can over and over. There’s no way to know what you mean when you ask “are these good for dueling” some people actually do choreography with lightsabers and use heavy duty blades meant for dueling and to withstand constant combat by adults. Some just want their kids to whack each other for a bit and it not hurt too much.

I'm not sure if I'm missing out on something, but whats the point in having a lightsaber if the blade is only like 4 inches long?

The lightsabers fully extend. The ones inside the store have tape on the end because it’s a high traffic store that gets VERY crowded. Last thing you’d want is 30 kids swinging around fully extended lightsabers while 100 people get out of star tours and try to walk through the area. When you purchase the blade they have you take the Jedi or with oath and then they tell you not to remove the tape until you leave the park. It’s also a big issue for guest safety in the parks. People don’t watch where they are going as is, adding a 6ft long double deluxe lightsaber doesn’t help anything at all.
