That and why the most dangerous thing in their world was left open instead of walled up with a nice thick concrete retaining wall, maybe a good thick hatch if it was ever needed, & then tell all the kids “only rule? Don’t ever go to this highly dangerous place we leave completely unguarded, because, reasons” beyond stupid
