I really just remembered how I got into Spiders about 5 years ago, since they would freak me out heavy. I finally found your channel and got almost addicted to getting information about tarantulas and now I write this comment as I lay on a bed having 18 tarantulas in my room atm

I have a collection of African tarantula that are all heavy webbers. I have them all set up so I can stay up late at night and watch them spin webs. It's so captivating to watch. Late night is my favorite time

I am amazed at the size the Indian (Regalis I think) spiders reach, they are huge. If I lived in that area I very much doubt I would be able to calmly catch and release one from my house 😳

Trust me you arent the only 1 to leave slings in with mum. I mated my N. incei few months ago and sadly lost the male due to my slow reactions and the speed of the female, feeding on the male made her gain a lot of size so I assumed she would moult instead so did tell her she isnt allowed anymore boyfriends if that is how she treats them. Well fast forward to about a week ago, I got home from work at about 4.30 am went into my T room to check on my T's and suddenly noticed 2 slings in my female incei enclosure. Got 95 slings from her which made me so very happy and have told her she can have a boyfriend again. She was my first successful pairing and has given me the confidence to try to breed more of my tarantulas.

Spooky but not scary haha! Do you use white light normally? Highly suggest red light as they don't react to it.. much kinder to them.. and you'll see them very naturally.. and actually gives a different kind of spooky look lol.

About 25 years ago I bought 3 Black Asian Bird Eating Tarantulas which were supposed to be community spiders. 😒 Supposed to be..... I put them in a short 20 gallon tank and they had a lot of floor space because I had never heard of community spiders at the time. I had lots of soft terrain and moss with lots to climb on as well. Within 3 weeks there was only 1 left. Every night one was at the top of one of my plants with 1 of its legs at the bottom. The other was waiting at the bottom. That only lasted so long of course. They were evil spiders. They hissed and were super aggressive. They always displayed fangs every time motion was sensed. I found out (heard) they could jump and was glad when the last one perished. Enough of those. I've had many tarantulas in my life but none as evil as these. The runner up was the African Stout Legged Baboon. She liked to dance. Weird....

The best time that you can feed them is on night time. I fed my tarantulas, centipedes and scorpions around 11pm or 12am.
