I am really thrilled you have a lot of them, they are so cute and tiny atm awwh ❤️ They are such a pleasure to have, I have three of them myself and they are amazing! Mines love to eat watermelon and carrots but they go crazy for cucumbers!

Yayy fellow giant African land snail owner here. So glad you have some now. They're loads of fun... once they're a little bigger you can hear them rasping at their food and cuttlefish. They also like to take showers under the kitchen tap 😂 can't wait to see the videos you make with these

Tarantula Kat- Initially when he did videos in his apartment he had to pull the curtains closed and darken the room to get the quality videos he wanted with select lighting. I believe that's why he called it that. BTW, thank you so much for the Rob C. video update. You made my day!

Giant African Land snails! So cool! They will hardly grow for the first few months but will suddenly shoot up in size! Also may i request that you have a Black Widow in your collection at some point? They're misunderstood spiders with a bad reputation and also don't require much space!

Love the jumping spiders. Have so much personality. On a side note, I am looking to get my first tarantula, any suggestion for a manageable first species that gets a decent size (so it's harder to get lost)? I'm still a little nervous with spiders.
@KuroNekoXIII6 жыл бұрын
Oh hey! Those jumping spiders are common where I live. I see at least 2-3 a year, and they can get quite a bit bigger. Like about the size of a blueberry is the biggest I've seen. They're hardy little spideys. If I wasn't absolutely terrified of spiders up close, I'd catch some grass spiders for your collection. People always mistake them for wolf spiders since they can get pretty big. Also some wood louse spiders. For some reason they creep me out the most out of common household spiders found in my state.
@dboykinchen886 жыл бұрын

Sad news for me, i got my first turantula at the BTS in may, a Borneo black and it settled in well and was feeding lovely and was quite active and it recently had a molt and during that molt it made a sort of hammock around the cork bark and sat in that to molt, process seemed to take quite a while and as i was watching it i noticed it fell out of the webbing it had made and landed on the substrate, not very high up but a good 8-10cm i assume, it seemed to have issues while on the ground and i left it for a while to let it do its thing and the next day it was still in the same position...so i googled and decided to try to help it a little but the damage was already done. It had lost 2 of its legs on the right, top 2, it lost both pedipalps and its top left leg was deformed and bent over wrapping to the right kinda covering its face and one of its fangs seemed to stick out upwards and didn't look too healthy. I kept a close eye on it and was hoping it made a recovery and mentioned all this to the woman i got it from at the bts when i went to the next show in thornbury and she wasn't hopeful, there wasn't any left there to buy another of that same species and on my return today i came home to it in the death position. Sad to see, Everyone i've spoken to has said they've never known a molt to go so badly, my dad has 25 and never had that and said i did everything correctly...such a lovely spider. I will return to the next BTS and look for another, it's a species i would love to see you own. Keep up the good work Petkov, Enjoyed your videos for over a year now, Good content :)

Aaaaaw I used to have giant African snails, my friend got my daughter 3 when she was about 6 or 7 because she collected garden snails amd kept them as pets lol. They had loafs of babies, it was awesome. I managed to sell a few online and at our local pet shop, unfortunately I m9ved house one winter, we got snowed in the new house with a lot of stuff still in the old house, snails included, as there was no heating we lost a lot of them, including the big parents, that was ahes ago bit I'd like more one day. I still see pics come up of them and the babies, I miss them so much. I LOVE the jumping spiders, they're adorable ❤ I like the big female too, she was so moody lol 😂
