Author here. Glad people seemed to enjoy this story. I've since edited it after a couple of recurring criticisms in the comments here, namely, that a suitcase is too big for a thousand dollars, and that this story is inaccurate regarding the actual events in The Aristocats. I had seen the movie several times before writing this story, but it had been a few years and I never actually got around to watching it again before I published the story. The most I did to make sure my account of the movie was correct was to skim a couple plot summaries on websites. I figured any factual errors I made about the movie could be chalked up to the "lost media" aspect of the story, but in the end the error just bothered me too much so I changed it. Part of why I became so sure my recollection of the movie was correct was that I was particularly attached to the opening scene that describes an "evil woman drowning a family of cats in a stream." When I read the comments correcting the error that it was the old woman who had kidnapped the cats in the movie, I was torn on whether to keep that opening and have the narrator explain that he misremembered the butler as a woman, or just change "evil woman" to "evil man." I ended up choosing the latter as the former proved to just be too awkward to attempt to force into the story, but it was disappointing to have to do it since the changed line just did not carry quite the same feel for me. Another common critique of the story is that it has many cliches and contrivances, but this was intentional. The story was supposed to be a reimagining of all existing creepypasta lost episode "lore", and so, for example, when "magic" is cited as a possible explanation for the Super Bowl tape, that's because existing lost episode stories tended to have "magical" elements. The same goes for including "hyperrealism" in the story when it could have been left out, I wanted to make the story true to the previously existing lost episode traditions. The passage with the FBI report in particular is a pure plot convenience info dump and this was conscious. When I was workshopping the story I was told that it needed more background information on the Lost Media Group and I couldn't think of any ways to insert the information that wouldn't be just as contrived so I decided to just take the easiest route and use a leaked police report.

Besides, this story story was written by HopelessNightOwl, who did multiple horror stories. This is why DS shouldn’t do collab with Blameitonjorge. 0:33 Happened to me with Watership Down *Edit* AHHHH HE MENTIONED IT... *Also* This is just me thinking but I got chills when I heard the Pokemon game part. I live in a rather remote part of Puerto Rico and in my early childhood I remember my parents telling me about a little girl nearby who was found dead, by suspected suicide. What they told me was she was obsessed with Pokemon and this one time she started crying and told her parents the game showed her horrible things and the Pokemon started making 'ugly faces' at her but they said it was a nightmare and the next morning she was found dead. My parents basically said Pokemon was demonic and a demon did it, which made me stay away from anything Pokemon related while growing up... Still now that I hear this... Could there be even 1% truth to this story?

I think this could be a real phenomenon. Myself having an example of it in my memory. It wasn't graphic or creepy, but I SWEAR when I was little, I saw a scene on Bambi that I can't see or find again. Either it was some uncut version in the cinema or simply misremembering. I also remember a VERY weird show on TV (the type with a presenter and that would show different cartoons during). It had a big colourful egg and not long after the host announced the cartoon coming up, there were 2 LONG green skinny fingers coming up from behind the egg like how people do the bunny ears behind someone in Photos. There's a lot more I've seen as well. All strange and seemingly non-existent.

This story actually got me in that I have a similar, but much milder, experience. It was an episode of SWAT Katz. I didn't use to see that series much, just if it happened to be on TV and nothing else I wanted to watch was on. I remember the episode being about the Metallikats accidentally causing a repairing robot to gain conscience and start absorbing all sorts of machines, including Mac. And later when the Swat Katz and Molly enter the robot to stop it, she finds Mac being half-absorbed into the monster and later she's taken too. Now, for some reason, I had this very, very vivid image of the end of the episode, when they pan across the ruins of the robot and among the ruble are the "corpses" of the Metallikats, who are completely destroyed, not even their eyes lit up, as a rather haunting melody plays. It was so dark that you felt bad for them even if they were villains. But then one day I remembered that haunting image and wanted to get it out of my system and see what it was all about and searched for the episode online. Found out it was called "Unlikely Alloys". It ran as I remembered until the ending, which was completely different: in this version, Molly is alive and searching the ruins of the robot for Mac, who also turns out to be alive, but his head is fused to a food processor. All of it completely played for laughs. And now I'm just wondering if that weird ending I saw was just some dream or... well, now I'm starting to thing it might be something else...

This was really good, i love the animation media, and even i have projects in it, this story hit me strong, and listening as i´am making a Nyarlathotep drawing in the midle of the night doesn't help. Thanks for the work.

I feel like that one guy with the super realistic art style that had his own studio found the inner occult key magic of art, and founded the group 😋

Its cool listening to someone do something with the now outdated lost episodes creepypastas, especially something really good!

I have been listening to your vids for a while now, Love the music, selected art, and especially the sound effects. However this was the first one that really unsettled me. Don't know what it was but it got me looking over my shoulder, was even playing a game and jumping at any unknown noise. Probably just tired but great work mate! Left right game is still one of my favorites.

I like how thus leaves the open ended occult and supernatural elements hanging as possibly at play...good choice

Watership Down is a name I haven't heard in a LONG TIME! I don't remember much about it other than it being dark and somewhat scary for my young mind at the time. I'm in my 40's now...and that's still how I think of that movie today. I do remember rabbits hopping through tunnels...but that's it...can't even remember the storyline! I just know that remembering just these things...I never wanted to watch it again...and I haven't. Now I kinda want to watch it again...to see how I feel now. Great story!! I LOVE this channel!!!! 💜👏💜🤗

"i remember watching an animated movie that was definitely not for children at a very young age" can relate. the one i've seen was about cats but they were like fighting each other with blood spilling out and a couple very tragic deaths and, i think, at the end the main protagonist cat won by slicing the antagonist cats belly open with his claws, making the guts spill out. been asking around if anyone knows that movie, someone told me the name and i saved it somewhere because i'd like to rewatch it to see how much of it i actually remember, how much my mind made up, and how much i've forgotten. but that was years ago and now i can't even remember where i've saved it lmao. gg unlucky. wait, damn, now that you mention it i'm pretty sure it might have been filadae or however you spell it. gonna have to check it out now, thx.
