@@alexandergeorge5908 There are like 100 stories he's written so far in the same universe but idk which book this story's in nor how many are in his Amazon books... Maybe there's a better starting place but I'd start with "The Outsiders: Book One" then "The Outsiders: Book Two" to get started? Those explain how some of the worlds are connected and are pretty good imo

God, this story was absolutely beautiful. I cannot get over how Rachel, despite knowing that she didn’t have long to live, did everything she could to held Thomas and the other Rachel find each other. The fact that the first Rachel and Thomas had a relationship that transcended time and space, even the fact that they subconsciously knew each other’s names… I imagine that now, a piece of her resides within him, while he and this other Rachel live out the rest of their lives in peace(finally). This was a beautiful story, and you captured its tone, plot and characters perfectly.

@@timverrecchia1654 ehhh, the character acted pretty dumb when he didn't go to the police. Sure it might be an experiment but damn, first few days of seeing that I'm going to the fbi. And she shows up and is just promising to come over if he waits another month? Nah, the worst that happens if it's an experiment is nothing
@timverrecchia1654
@timverrecchia1654 2 жыл бұрын
@@ReaIJackhammer well he explained his thought process clearly, he cared for the girl increased over time, he realizes she is there against her will, his mind attempts to rationalize this fact when faced with the felling of cognitive dissonance with attempts to numb the pain by making self-serving justifications he receives money and it's a easy job he should keep but his morals and beliefs prevail especially as the recording develops into a more sinister undertone he can no longer make excuses and begins to become worried And accept that infact she does need help, many humans do this, morally wrong jobs but since pay is good they attempt to justify. After seeing the message help he then made a plan to speak to another employee to get facts rather then making assumptions, after speaking to him he learns the power the corporation/ government that is running the job, he is told they are always watching and know everything and the other person says that they are willing to kill if he has not already killed both of them which only heightens his anxiety making him even less likely to act, only acting when he knows his plan will work/ has enough evidence but he will act as he can't live with himself if he doesn't, this isn't a movie and the protagonist is no hero, he has anxiety's so over thinks so obviously he thinks about police but since he doesn't know who he works for he is not sure if police are influenced/ under control by these people but still he knows he must act so decides he will go to police after getting the evidence and posting the evidence from his phone to social media, evidence which he hasn't got any yet so like you said going to the FBI would ultimately be pointless. They know he is about to crack and try help Melanie so they send the actor which is identical to the original girl, who wouldn't be fooled by this act and not to mention he has feelings for her so when he hears that they need to stay because she needs the income he is willing to help after all he was just about to help her by trying to leak the video why wouldn't he continue to help her it's his nature ?. when he goes to work the next day upon reading the new message in the painting telling him that the girl who he believed was Melanie was not his sense of security and justification for his job crumbles his cognitive dissonance floods back in and panic, the fact they sent the actor means they knew about the messages and the fact he wasn't pressing the buttons, upon this change of state he immediately goes and gets his phone to expose the situation as it's his nature to help especially as he has feelings for the girl, this was the first time he truly knew what was going on and that his job wasn't innocent at least for now as if you listen whole story this development is only 1% of the plot. I can keep explaining but in my opinion this is the only time in the story where his actions could be considered dumb but as I have explained it's human nature and psychology the fact he acted this way his just an average Joe after all

Even though im late as hell. This is an amazing story. It was actually terrifying as hell, it go my brain running with ideas, but then near the end all the paintings made sense even that bittersweet hand holding one. At the very end, she painted them being together as her final wish in life before her death and in an odd way, the tree granted her that wish. In the end they did end up together oddly cute and horrifying that a space-time tree with dimensionally manipulative powers can unintentionally grant wishes. But again amazing story, it was so nice to have that relieving end, a bittersweet comforting end. I honestly love this story.

My dear narrator, I want to say that your stories are like lighthouses guiding my voyage through terrible storms. Everything I listen to one of your narration, it makes my day better. Then to listen to the other 2, Ashes, and Package, it's amazing to come back to this story with a deeper understanding of what exactly is going on. You truly know how to create an ambiance.
