I invented a game I call Roll your out. You need two dice. I have a red and a green, but the same color will work You always read one dart first; I use the green. Say a green 2 and red 5. That’s 25. You try to check out from that. If you get it, score 2 points. If it’s a one dart out and you get it first dart , you get a bonus point. Getting a two darter in two gets the bonus. You re-roll every turn. Play to any score you decide. It’s good for solo practice or with an opponent. Lots of double chances.

I do a similar practice game to start the session for the day lol. I do around the clock and go with 2 Darts at a single and the last one at the next double to skip that one. For example, I hit 1-1-double2 so I do next the 3-3-d4 if I don‘t hit 2 singles I have to do it again and if I don’t hit the double I go only one further instead of two. Greetings from Germany, I like your channel and already done the 3 bulls challenge within 20 minutes ( 2 times, first one not recorded 😁😁😁).

I have some very similar practice sessions. Another one is hurdles, the idea is to go round the board scoring as high as possible on each number adding up the score as you go along. Each odd number is a hurdle , if you miss with all 3 darts it's game over including the 25/ semi bull
@davidclifton73934 жыл бұрын

Brilliant video mate. I’m going to be trying these. I’m in a bit of a dark dart hole right now. About 10/11 years ago I had my first 9 darter. Then destroyed my knee had to have two operations. Afterwards I couldn’t stand the way I used to and had to change it. Over the years I’ve picked up darts for a few weeks been nowhere near where I was and gave up. But about a month ago I’ve got the bug back. Playing every day. Seemingly getting worse each day. Bought new darts. I’m even worse. So hard to get out of your head once you in your head with darts. Going to watch more of your videos and hopefully start improving in the weeks/months/years to come. Love the content buddy keep it up

Don't give up I've had my ups and downs too playing darts and have changed my stance and throw etc. You should be very proud of yourself for getting a 9 darter! That's amazing! I can barely get a 180 but it makes me more determined to get better lol.
@TomasMisura3 жыл бұрын
My favorite routine is 1-2 hours warm up, then singles 1-20 and bulls eye, triples 1-20 and bulls eye and doubles 1-20 and bulls eye. Then single, triple, double 1-20 and bulls eye. In advanced version I increase number of darts in one section.
@kub1x1x3 жыл бұрын
i also invented my game (i still haven't named it lol) but the rules are simple: you do the same thing as you do in around the clock, but... for example: If you miss the double 5, you have to hit triple 6. If you don't hit triple six, then you go back to four and try to score a double. If you don't hit that double 4, then you aim for triple 5. If you don't hit triple 5, you go back to 3, and try to hit double etc. So you just almost can't miss any single dart in order to complete the game. It took me 5 hours at first to win the game the first time. Now I get it much faster. It improved my accuracy of hitting doubles and triples by A LOT. I would recommend it to anyone, who plays darts at least QUITE WELL.
@ironicz1234 жыл бұрын
Another good practice game for doubles is Anderson 27 so you start with 27 points and throw 3 darts at double 1, depending on how many you hit depends on wether you add 2,4 or 6 points if you miss you minus 2 points you then move to double 2 hit it plus 4,8 or 12 points miss it you minus 4 points you do this with all the doubles and finish on the bull however if you run out of points you restart with 27 and back on double 1

@KZgun4hire2 жыл бұрын
The problem is the mechanic of aiming. If I have a less then 5% checkout which means 1 dart in 20 hitting a double then it doesn't really matter what game I play, because I'm going to miss most of the time. I have watched many dart tip videos but have yet to see anyone explain aiming. Maybe you could provide your insights on aiming. My issue is not been able to consistently put the dart in any location where I believe I am aiming. In addition if I aim somewhere and try to replicate three identical throws the darts rarely group together, either where I aim or anywhere else. So to me I repeat what feels like three identical throws but watch the darts go everywhere but where I aim. So the idea or concept of aiming is eluding me!

Only recently subscribed to your channel on the strength of another video you did (but can't recall which one it was now). Absolutely adore this video. Some great practice games here, some I'm definitely going to use too. I'm trying to get over dartitis and have almost cracked it. What dartitis did for me is highlight just how bad my actual technique really was and by correcting my technique I've very nearly fixed everything that was wrong. However now that I'm throwing with this new technique, it feels like I have to start learning to throw all over again! I'm going to use these to help but maybe start lower with your "Up 10 Down 1" game to start at say, 10 and work up (until I get my basics back on track) and tailor it to a better skill level as I improve again. Same for 121, I might start lower (maybe 101) and again tailor it as things improve. That's what I like most about these games - you can tailor them all in any way you want to and still get the benefit from playing them. Great work!
