Thank you! Finally a reactor that actually hears the instrumentation and comments on it. Haley has an amazing voice, which you commented on on your previous PMJ reaction. Great reaction.

Can't believe you don't make any mention of Haley's incredible voice until 14:00 into the video. And it's Hay-lee.

First take, only take. Haley was under the weather at the time. She's amazing and Scott is an amazing arranger. More PMJ please.

Music is very subjective. You seem to focus more on the instruments than the vocals. In my opinion Haley was the star of this video with her unique vocals and expressive performance. I think several million people agree with me how she and the band turned this rock classic into a Jazz masterpiece, Thanks for your review, I respect your opinion.

The piano player is the guy behind PMJ.

I could see why you, as a bass player, would focus more on the music, but it's a bit surprising to see you miss so much of what was done vocally. Hailey was doing vocal gymnastics and sticking every landing, and you're one of the few who failed to recognize it, or perhaps appreciate it as much. It's a nice enough arrangement to make it a decent cover, but it's what she does vocally that makes it a pretty incredible cover. Not to say that you missed it entirely. I'm sure the high score was because of the vocals, but you seemed to downplay it a bit.

Scott Bradlee the piano man arranges ALL of PMJ's covers. The man is astoundingly good at quick improv to any piece. So yeah, he always is dialed in. 😉 As is Haley (Hay-lee). I'll admit I tried to listen to the original- I left radio and current music by '97 because...I'm an old dude. No getting around that. That said, I just don't care for it. It fits better in this style. My opinion- everyone has their own. Enjoy Radiohead, those who do. Liked the video. Thumbs up Bud!

You certainly have a different perspective on music than I do. It's sometimes a little frustrating for me to see reactors spending so much time trying to "count" the music; I always feel like you're missing the overall beauty of the composition. I hope that doesn't sound overly critical; it's just not the way I listen to music.

@tethys17 😑 Reactors can only take so many requests at a time. So either the song queue will be backed up for decades, or there is this current method. I can't request anything either atm. I just follow the channel.

I wish you would react to Haley Reinhart, Slash of Gun's and Rose's, and Myles Kennedy of Alter Bridge performing "Wild Horses" by the Rolling Stones. It was a 2012 nationally televised broadcast of Mohammed Ali's 70th birthday. kzbin.info/www/bejne/povak39qqJaFqJYsi=jQUDEZNHl1_G1IC7

Definitely a unique take on the song with impressive vocals, though the style doesn’t really match the message of the lyrics.

They are creative, but I don't think this is a good song to cover. This song only works if you feel the pain. I just don't sense it. Not diminishing their talent at all.
