great reaction. haley reinhart is one the greatest, most unique vocalist of our time. postmodern jukebox (or pmj) takes current popular songs and completely re-imagines them vintage (1920s to 1960s) in the music itself and style of the performances that actually take you back in time. they have a variety of good vocals but haley especially with postmodern jukebox is incredible. all the other haley/pmj ones are great also: "all about the bass", "habits", "black hole sun", "mad world", "seven nations army", "oops i did it again", "lovefool" and the very recent "don't speak". i think what is so phenomenal about haley is not just her amazing silk to sandpaper voice but also her character and soul that she puts into the performances. even when she uses very little of her unique vocal acrobatics, her pure raw soft voice is amazing like in the intro of "creep". you see this even more in her solo double platinum cover of "can't help falling in love" for the extra gum commercial which is truly stunning and frequently described as what love sounds like here: (kzbin.info/www/bejne/laaxoXiYqZyqldE ) 😎

She has one of best voices in the entire world! She's a vocal acrobat!! I'm so glad you discovered her, plus Postmodern Jukebox! So many great songs they've covered. I had to smile when you said "she's giving Angelina Jordan" - so our Norwegian princess has already become a point of reference for you, nice! But as quickly as AJ came to your mind she vanished again, Haley escalated quickly, didn't she? Actually I discovered both AJ and Haley only one or two days apart about five years ago, don't even remember who came first... Haley developed her artistry to another level, so many great performances to discover... Seven Nation Army White Stripes cover, also recorded with PMJ (basically all of her recordings with these guys, Don't Speak, Black Hole Sun, Oops I Did It Again, Habits, Lovefool...), but also her original songs, e.g. Don't Know How To Love You...
