The USS Providence returns home

The Los Angeles class, fast-attack submarine U.S.S. Providence (SSN-719) returns to U.S. Naval Submarine Base New London after a two-month surge deployment starring in July of 2018, followed by their regularly scheduled six-month deployment in the European Command Areas of Responsibility that started in September of 2018.
The Day Publishing Company, established in 1881 by John A. Tibbits, publishes The Day, a daily newspaper covering a 20-town region in eastern Connecticut with a daily and Sunday readership of nearly 100,000, and www.theday.com, a website generating more than 4 million page views a month.
