I am from Canada and I have been going to Lajitas, Big Bend Ranch State Park and Big Bend National Park for four years. I love it. However, there is one thing you didn't do in the parks, which is the thing I love the most, which is kayak on the Rio Grande River. We take our own kayaks but you can also sign up for guided kayak/canoe trips. Amazing.

I went to Lajitas when I was a kid and there was only one street that looked like your classic ghost town. I just went back and yeah, it's crazy how different it is.

Love the Big Bend Ranch SP! Beautiful road and mountains. Our best hike was in the closed trailhead. We went back to the park again this year. Amazing!

Yall are so funny, looked like two whinny kids at first, then i the next part, yall looked happy, and un-dejrcted, lol. It was like a before and after commercial, dark cloudy and windy, next the sun was out, ha ha ha. I was surprised when you said people drive past in that, of course not, God for saken place ! When you move a desert tortoise they lose their urine of which I could see in video. It will cause them to dehydrate, never move !
