Larry. Your health and well being are more important than worrying about posting videos. I'm sure your subscribers all understand. As you said we can catch up on the 350 plus vids you have. You have been an instrumental guiding force of the model railroading community. And personally, I would not have know how to handle or do some things without your informative videos. Along that your replies to viewer comment are much more consistent than most other posters. We will be there when you are! Thanks Larry! Cheers, Earl

Heath is way more important than giving us the weekly information, teaching and advice. For the ones who think differently be thankful of the other 356 videos Larry has made. Larry do not push yourself to make a video, we want you to feel better and healthy rather than a 30 min video every week.

Hey Larry, you should focus on your health mate - you've made such a huge contribution to the hobby with the books, the videos and your willingness to share knowledge and experience. I haven't got through all of your videos yet (I've made a decent dent though!), so there is still plenty for me to enjoy! Whilst we all would love to see you continue to inspire with regular videos, your health is number 1. The videos can wait. Look after yourself, take it easy and get the health stuff sorted. Best wishes from Sydney, Australia!

Larry, your health and well being must come first. I really enjoy watching your videos, and have learnt much about DCC and all sorts of other model railway related things. I wish you well for the future, and do take care of yourself.

Appreciate all you do (and have done) Larry. Learnt so much from you. Thank you. Why not go to a fortnightly video. One of my other favourite channels, Chadwick Model Railways, did that sometime back. It has not been detrimental to the channel or the hobby, whilst relieving the pressure of the ‘weekly’ event. Pray your health improves. Every blessing.

Post whenever you feel like posting. I'm just here to get educated in case I decide to invest in a layout at some point in the future. Knowing what products work and which other products don't work helps because there are all kinds of junk products for a particular task out there.

Hi Larry. Do the push button switches need to be latching or can push to make work as well ? Take care of yourself. Derek
@LogicRailTech11 ай бұрын
The push button switches do NOT have to be latching. Momentary switches work just fine. Each time you press such a switch the associated output(s) will toggle between activated (on) and deactivated (off). You can also use a non-momentary toggle switch which would have the benefit of having an obvious physical state (up vs. down).

I have LED lighting all over my layout. I kept it simple and inexpensive with no resistors, using a 3 volt power supply and on/off switches. Sorry, but the other route is expensive and more complicated. Also a lot more wiring. I model railroad to have fun, not be a slave.
@TheDCCGuy11 ай бұрын
I generally do that too except in scenes where I need a special effect such as a fire flickering or lights turning on and off at random, etc. so this will be perfect for those situations.

You likely could assuming you have the time, talent, interest, and electronics savvy to figure out how. Unfortunately a lot of folks are not so inclined and that’s where a product like this serves a need..
