The store I frequent is within several blocks of an unhomed encampment. 1st time I went down an aisle and watched as a guy was filling the front of his baggie jogger pants with Merch. I kid you not....a few years ago you couldn't find a working cart as the same "clientele" were absconding with all the carts. I pity Dollar Tree folks.

I really have always had a hard time understanding peoples mentality about killing all of the creatures on the earth because you don’t want it to be in your life well, we are all have to live together because we if you take something out of the food chain then something else needs to move into that space to feed whatever it was that you Just removed the meal from and eventually if they come back around to that we are the number one dinner of all of the creatures if you want to think of it that way also, if you don’t want like ants and if you ever noticed when you’re gonna have a rain storm, there’s a pending storm all the ants wanna come inside because they’re ready to try to get all kinds of stuff done and their little homes and they ramp up their busy work to make sure that they have enough supplies to get them through the harder times so if you don’t wanna answer your house especially in the hot summer times have a water source like a little birdbath or something 20 or 30 feet away from your house and they’ll go over there all the creatures will go that way that will take all the spiders everything that eat each other. They’re all gonna go that way in the first place and also you even worse. What is up with this Sticky things like for the Ms a mice and the rats and the everything I mean it’s just that’s rude that’s cruel. How would you like to be stuck to something and wait. Just wait there till you die or get munched on halfway while you’re just basically tied down that is a disgusting way to do it But you could a natural way to keep the perimeter away from but yet you have to do it every couple days if you get cinnamon or eucalyptus, peppermint essential oil and just put that in some water and spray it around all of the doors and windows so they don’t want it they don’t wanna cross that and all especially the cinnamon that’s just hot. If you put that up on your lips Lady, we should do it in the 80s so I kind of plump your lips up but you’re just a water it down and I would always forget because I had to cute little miniature tiny tiny bottle of it came free with a expensive one, and I keep it in my purse and then whenever I thought oh gosh, a bunch of boys looking at me I would put that touch it touch it to my lips and oh try not to scream because oh yeah, it would catch on fire real quick and blow up. I mean it worked but it should burn so but the point was as you use the cinnamon oil that’s the best one because it burns their little feet when they try to cross it nobody wants to cross it the tiny little insects, so but yeah like I said you have to do that every couple days depending on how dry your area is because it wears out but at least it’s not poison so if you have babies and and little pets are gonna go back-and-forth you don’t have to worry about them getting sick, so do it that way there you gostop being mean don’t get things like tape stuff. Oh God that’s mean to be better off just using regular snap traps

Just a hopefully helpful hint: ice cube trays can be used to freeze eggs. So, if you have a couple of chickens in your backyard who produce a lot more during the spring and summer, you can freeze the extras before they go bad. ✌️💚

Here’s the FREEZER one: 1) CRACK open egg (do what ever you do with your shells: trash, mulch, etc) 2) Put into ice cube tray OR *2A) mix egg so BOTH yoke & whites ARE MIXED THEN pour into ice cube tray. 3) Cover & put in FREEZER! ~~(I’d do OPTION *2A to get a more even & consistent freeze & can be used for anything after that. You can even just crack several into a bowl, mix together in a larger container, FREEZE, just WRITE HOW MANY EGGS🥚ARE IN THE CONTAINER.) ……Hope that’s what you meant when you asked *“how eggs prepare”?* Cause that’s an open ended question. If you mean how to FREEZE, you also need to know the HOWS AFTER and BEFORE using. 4) After ALL HAVE FROZEN, POP OUT OF ICE TRAY & here you can put in a freezer bag(to save space and/or reuse the trays again. When needed pull out 1, 2 or amount you need to use. 5) Put in separate container & place in fridge to let them THAW OUT. 6) When THAWED mix in the same container OR get another container & mix with whatever you like to put in your eggs OR whatever you need the eggs for. **Also WRITE the date of when you froze them to know how long they’ve been in the freezer.** So hope this helps with what you need. If anyone has a better way… (leave a comment I guess.) 😎 🥚 🍳 ✌🏻

I have used the large turquoise oval platter for a bird bath! Just fill with water, add a couple rocks for birds to stand on then place the tray on the ground or table and just watch the birds start bathing in this 'pool'.

I went to the Dollar Tree recently looking for the battery operated toothbrush but I had no luck. I love watching these Dollar tree videos Matt makes because I shop their often but it can be a hit or miss when you shop their trying to find Matts finds. I have found some of the things he shows in his videos but others I never find. I’m hoping I find those knock off Allegra Valu health pills because that would help on the price I normally pay for them in case of emergency (if I temporarily run out). It was nice to hear Matt was born on Mother’s Day, it’s his day but he gets to share it with every mother out there, what a celebration! and those sandals are very appreciated. If you need a pair of sandals temporarily and you don’t want to pay $10 or more those sandal prices are a money saver! wishing us all luck finding Matts finds in our local Dollar Tree stores!

I watch these and subscribe to this channel for 2 reasons. To see the great deals. To watch the girls grow up and see the family. BTW I've been woodworking since the 70's and you can buy the 1$ tape measure and it will work for your project if you only use that one for every measurement. If you are sizing up furniture to see where it will work best than they'll work just fine. Just make sure you only use the one. The only time accuracy matters is when comparing it to something else. 15:02 - yoga mat refresher does not disturb the sticky surface of the mat. Febreeze or other cleaning products could create a slick surface and well that's no fun in the middle of a downward dog. Thanks for your videos! I love the content - it's always so helpful.

I watch at least 5 or 6 DT creators, for years. Many show rusty shelves, and STAYED that way and still IS! My store and 2 others where I am is filthy, JAMMED with unopened stock you can’t get around and only ever 1 cashier. I now go as little as possible. I got mine from Aldi about 2+ or so years ago. LOVE them. Whatever you do don’t get the HARD plastic (4+yrs ago), mine ended up being a bit larger circumference & defeated the purpose! 🤦🏻‍♀️ Because I couldn’t get them into the water bottles. The silicone ones are tiny bit smaller (circumference) but at least they FIT w/out bashing them in the bottles. 😎 ✌🏻

Awww, what an awesome Mother's Day gift your mom got a few decades ago. The 3-pc measure cups look fantastic - always losing them for some reason. The regular bungy cords are definitely for lightweight stuff, so don't try to hold a ladder to the roof of your car with them when you drive, they will definitely let you down. But if you want to roll up a bath mat and want it held in place, yeah they will work for that. Got some of new various yard lighting and they are all great - hope they come back next year as they flew off the shelves. Thanks again Matt - your videos are always very helpful.

For the yoga mat refreshers, those are a separate thing from other cleansers because you can't use just ANY cleaning agent on your yoga mat. Most cleaning agents have harsh ingredients that will cause the yoga mat's material to deteriorate and result in having to buy a new one. So the specific yoga mat cleansers (most likely) have more gentle ingredients in them that are better for the material 🙂

The silicone ice cube trays are AMAZING and so convenient. Love the different sizes and shapes. FYI - the big squares can be used to freeze things like chopped peppers, tomato sauce, etc. Great for preserving summer produce to use later.

Since you first featured the spider insect trap, I have been buying them at Dollar Tree. They are fantastic. You put them in the freezer for a few minutes so you can pull the paper backing off. I have to use a piece of tape because they unfold. They catch a lot of insects. I have even caught tiny fruit flies.

Those bubble machines are so cute. I don't have kids, but I want one. I have the solar lantern, and it's cute as well. I have it hanging from one of my pots on my patio. At night, it glows like little fairy lights. I do suggest adjusting the lights inside the case and spreading them out a bit.

Just bought a DT tape measure. I don't know about the black, but they have a yellow one now (that I bought) that has inches AND cm, which, as our world gets smaller and smaller with globalization, I find I NEED cm measurements on some home items I order, so this works out great. It (the yellow) is very smooth pull and retract and I think it's way worth $1.25.

Also heads up. They are price hiking in some of the stores. Mixing the higher priced items in with the $1.25 items. Make sure to check prices on tags. So far seems like large shampoo bottles, food products and some medication.

I went to Sam's club the other day and since I was already in there around 7:00 I gave your comment a try about the baked chicken half price I waited till 8:00 and they didn't mark them down and I asked the guy about if they were going to mark them down at a certain time no ma'am whatever don't sell we throw them away so I said you mean if nobody buys them then instead of marking them down you'll throw them away

I'm excited (and hopeful) to find those swing-top bottles! We use the solar step lights on both our deck and front steps. They work great (so far) and are pretty discreet during the day. The disposable bundt pans may work great for the "soda can" chicken (where you prop the chicken on end to make it kind of a rotisserie-style) if you cover the opening with foil. The silicone ice cube trays for water bottles sell for over $3 at our Walmart. Thanks for your video!

Always stock up on their Pedialyte off-brand found in the baby section. The same is often found for around 8 dollars at CVS. These are great with summer around the corner, overheating, hangovers, bugs that go around, etc. I buy at least 4 at a time every visit.

Funny you mentioned the bird feeder along side of the slinky,,, if your bird feeder is on a pole. You can attach a slinky under the feeder to keep squirrels from getting to it.

I've bought 2 of those swing top bottles, I just recommend checking the little gasket on the cap. I ended up having to buy replacement gaskets online.
