Joke aside, where I live, nobody gets sued for modifying their hardware, software, downloading games, nor for emulating unless they SELL copyrighted products. It is always presumed the responsability is on the distributor to not infringe on copyrights by selling what they have no licence to do.

I love my 500gig micro sd card where I managed to cram every single 3ds and ds game I ever wanted to play out of the entire library. It's feature complete. I also really like the background changer that I have set to randomly swap between some awesome homebrew backgrounds, making it feel fresh every time I pick it up. :D Jailbreaking it was the best thing I ever done.

I became very educated about my dual IPS screen, new 3DS XL with a Samsung pro ultimate 256 gig SD card. And also my second one. On side but still serious note it’s been a lot of fun modifying them and learning how to 3-D print grips and stuff like that . I haven’t done anything like soldering in USB mod, or replace a top screen, but I’ve done pretty much everything else and it’s been really neat to just kind of learn about how these things look and how they work. Started me down a rabbit hole of thinking maybe I should repair more things that break and modify things to make them cool and unique as well! The more effort and love you put into something, the more value you get from it

Why did all the good videos about yo-kai watch meta come out around when it was dieing and get me excited for something I could never experience Although with how things appear to be going for the project right now unless somebody passionate about the series joins the team(and knows what they're doing in order to help) even starting work on yo-kai watch is probably a year away

The H-shop actually comes in clutch for providing updates to my recently imported out of region games too (I mean I could have gotten the games themselves from there too but sometimes its nice to have a physical copy) seriously I can't count the number of times I've booted that up just to install updates for games I own legally at this point it probably starts to rival... well I probably shouldn't finish that sentence

Ftpd was the first thing I looked into as I used it a ton of my switch, got my 3ds a couple days ago, spent 30 min setting up cfw and instantly added ftpd.

@@meestasermorto1523 yes you install an app. Look up on KZbin how to install ftpd on 3ds. Once you get it installed and use it the first time it's really easy to use again

​@meestasermorto1523 When you run the ftp software on the 3ds it will tell you an ip and a port (ex: 192.168.1.1:5000). On a Windows pc I go to the file explorer and right click the address bar, then edit, then put: ftp://192.168.1.1:5000.

He is correct on EZ. I just modded 1. Ran into I think 2 errors that were EZ to get around by reading recent documentation. Jailbreaking doesn't break what you currently have. It just opens your device up to way more options. I recommend it on any console past its support life 😅

Fred I seriously the best. One thing to note is that some folders won't show up, like the saves in with the nds rooms for the twilight menu. So keep that in mind.

Yes! Although going from no streetpass DLC(aside from stock/slot car) to all the streetpass DLC is quite overwhelming even if the only one your streetpassing is other 3ds's you own I can only imagine how much more so it would be if I finally took the plunge and set up net pass And also every time you use the regular e-shop the dlc uninstalls so you have to install it again and sit through the minute long look at this game you just unlocked thing again

You don't need an additional program to move files on your 3ds and with your computer. Just go to settings and file management, under SD Card settings it should let you connect to your wifi network and move the files on your computer

That's exclusive to the New 3DS, New 3DS XL, and New 2DS XL. For the 3DS, 3DS XL, and 2DS, FTPD is the only way. Granted, they do have a "New" model...
