Tatum is definitely a better passer. During the regular season they seem like they're about the same, but Tatum makes better decisions with his playmaking in the playoffs by a lot.

​@@randombutspecificKD passes as a release valve. As a way to handle the pressure defenses put on him and it can fall apart in the playoffs if he's put in front of a defense that schemes against him. Tatum can actually playmake. He's not one of the best in the NBA or anything, but he can pass proactively instead of reactively like KD.

He has his moments. Can get you some impactful double digit rebounds and is a very good passer for a center. But he has confidence issues when left wide open in the perimeter for multiple possessions in high stakes games. At his best, he's a low tier All Star by quality of play but not by flashiness or fan love.

As someone who watched a good 30 Spurs games (my dad is a lifelong fan) I can definitely say he is a super underrated passer. It’s still 100% Sabonis, but could easily be Wemby in the future. He finds cutters better and might even be more accurate in where the ball goes. As for turnovers a lot of that is inexperience and him getting doubled or stripped from behind. Disadvantage of having no team. However Sabonis doesn’t make many mistakes and provides better opportunities for his teammates.

@@tmacattack8302 Wemby has potential and is already a good passer for the position but most of Wembys playmaking game is like you said making good reads to cutting players and basic hand off passes. Sabonis actually has some pretty good vision and accuracy to make guard like passes (similar to his dad back in the day). Outside of Jokic, Sabonis is the best passing big in the league. I don't if Wemby will get there, maybe but he looks like he's gonna be more of a elite 3 level scorer with DPOY defense rather then a "point big" like Jokic or Sabonis.
