The Westbrook MVP is one of the worst ever and shouldn't be S-Tier. His centers let him grab easy defensive rebounds just for the stats, his assists have always been more about forcing stuff than about actually being an even average decision maker and his scoring was underwhelmingly inefficient. We're talking about all time great efficiency while averaging a near 25+ ppg triple double for 4 straight years. 26-11-8 on 65% TS (3 seed) 27-14-8 on 66% TS (6 seed) 25-12-10 on 70% TS (1 seed) 26-12-9 on 65% TS (2 seed) Love Russ but Jokic is 100% a better player. Russ was a floor raiser, Jokic is a ceiling raiser. Even when Russ got PG OKC didn't really get any better whereas once Jokic got a healthy Murray back they were a championship team.

Russel westbrook had a great season when you look at his team and all that but there is a few reasons his MVP was not deserved. 1. They were the 6th seed. A MVP should not be that low of a seed, it should go the player who adds most value to his team, taking them to the 6th seed is not all that. 2. His stats was not that good. We praise the tripple double but in the end it is a bad good stat. 88% of all his rebounds were uncontested. His 31.6ppg was on 42.5%, which is really bad. His season was great, but make is rpg 9.9 and no won would consider him for MVP.
