Yes, you guys are correct. Our 4 bedroom home in Portmore sold quickly, and we had a hard time securing a new home in a desirable area also in Portmore. Although we had more than 60% of the price of the desired home, we had a difficult time in getting what we wanted. We ended up in St Ann... no regrets! P.S. I have a Purr water filter on my kitchen faucet, and I boil my filtered for drinking!

The terms would be stated in the sales agreement. The seller would state the terms before hand but most times it’s a fixed amount you’ll lose.

What I want to know is dose the Jamaican government have laws to govern HOA. Because here in America states are regulated them because they are thief's, unacceptable. There should be NO HOA in Jamaica that dictate the fee s should be paid in USD the average Jamaica don't make USD they make Jamaican dollars. I know a lady the was so foolish to rent home in USD in the 90s every day her rent increased her rent tripled in 6 months. And am sorry guy am born Jamaican I am not spending my money buying no house in Jamaica over the United states i can bet you a million dollar in 20 years none of them will beat me at return on there homes.
