Java minecraft really needs an update that makes modding easier and better as well as just a general performance boost, the latest updates just feel so empty when they could be making java so much greater than it is

yeah mojang could focus on making an update that focuses on modding in java and make it so mods still work on new updates, so literally just dont make any breaking changes lol at least then we would get a big core update instead of a useless community voted mob

Java has always had a lot of limitations from what I remember, even back when I started playing when they added the nether people were talking about how Java was holding Minecraft back. Think it's just the nature of the beast now, But I agree with you performance boost and help for madders would always be appreciated

@@JeloOW even if mojang did no game breaking changes, that first would mean that there would be no major changes, which would mean that the game would probably die, and secondly, modders still have to update their mods even if it’s not much, because of compatibility and again, new features.

That's ironic since modding originated from the java version. they just make "great" mods on bedrock edition because people are paying for it. Java is much better because it's not full of bugs, janky mechanics and it's not infested with greed. not to mention the shaders on java makes the game absolutely mesmerizing. on bedrock the shaders just makes everything overly saturated.

@• Dʏɴᴀᴍɪᴄ Eɴᴇʀɢʏ • you're right, Java has a huge advantage when it come to just not being horriblly buggy, so why don't we both agree they both need updates, bedrock needs one that makes it actually playable and one for Java that improves on more technological stuff instead of adding or changing mechanics.

Also, the way they did the Mario 64 mod was really cool. It runs Mario 64 separately (like you have to put a rom in your mods folder for it to work) and the simulates the blocks around Mario and puts the player model in minecraft

The mario 64 mod is actually mario 64 code running in minecraft, not just a recreation, so it can do everything he can do in the game

Can we please keep *mods* (Java and I believe there are some for Bedrock), *Marketplace content* (Bedrock only), and *datapacks* separate? And maybe indicate when a mod is for Java or Bedrock, Forge or Fabric (or Quilt or one of the more obscure mod loaders), what version number of Minecraft, etc? I was watching this video making plans to use some of the cooler stuff to make a modpack, and half the stuff is either Marketplace only, or just you didn't provide a link, or both.

It's a very cool video, I'm just disappointed that some of the coolest bits are Bedrock only so I can't use them with other cool mods that I already had in mind. The only *real* complaint I have is you should give some indication, at least, of what edition, game version, and if it's something you have to pay for or something you can just download.

the knight video at the beginning of the video is from Minecraft bedrock, to be honest it's marketplace content not for Java and I'm a bit confused why you took a little snippet of that video from content creator marketplace,and for thumbnails, it also comes from a map in the Marketplace which is called a custom enchant

man Bedrock addons are going wild in terms of quality compared to before, Bendy the Demon18 is actually working on something that you'd probably believe to be high Java quality, but it hasn't been announced publicly yet, at least Bedrock gets something nice no not the goofy ahh Poppy Playtime addon though it is high quality for bedrock
