Hindu were always with Shivsena until they betrayed BJP in 2019 and made alliance Congress & NCP also the founder of shivsena Balasaheb Thakare always opposed Congress and once said that "If the time comes for me to form an alliance with Congress, I would rather close the party" but at the other end his own son didn't follow his ideology and hurt lots of Hindu's thats why Shivsena(Thakare)faced defeat. Also if you speak about NCP so Sharad Pawar always do politics on the basis of caste and he ruined majority of Maharashtra because of casteism thats why people didn't support him now and at last about Congress so Congress always gets hate in Maharashtra from years and years so that was nothing new in that 😅 but still if you want to know the real reason so its as simple as that, in Maharashtra we hate casteism and the people who do casteism and the whole India knows how congress is doing casteism in politics from when they came in politics so in future also congress never gonna win in Maharashtra. I think it is enough now. Congress and INDIA bloc has failed completely. To challenge BJP for long term you will have to challenge them at ground and challenge their ideology but Congress of INDIA bloc does not have anything to counter that. We were fooled by lil comeback of Congress and INDIA bloc in Lok Sabha elections. In my personal opinion and analysis. The recent election results in Maharashtra and the UP by-polls, along with the Haryana election results a month ago, indicate that the BJP’s drop from 300+ to around 240 seats in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections wasn’t due to the Congress or INDIA bloc’s narrative and efforts. Instead, it seems to have stemmed from a lack of ground support from the RSS. It’s possible that RSS was displeased with the perceived arrogance of some BJP leaders, such as JP Nadda, during the Lok Sabha polls. So maybe RSS sought to teach them a lesson in Lok sabha elections by not backing them 100%. However, it appears the BJP has since acknowledged its mistakes and realized that, even at its peak, it cannot succeed without the grassroots backing of the RSS. Post-election, the BJP seems to have mended its relationship with its ideological mentor, and this renewed support from the RSS might explain their improved performance in Haryana, Maharashtra, and UP.
