I like that you don't try to make these videos shorter than they need to be. Gives enough time to really understand the brief and client's needs, as well as get a better picture of how the house looks, connects, functions, etc.

Homes like this are why you hire an architectural firm to design a piece of art to live in. Really cool house....

I'll be first on the list wwhen it's offered on Airbnb 🤗 . What can one say! Know the environment, know the client, know the budget and GO FOR IT. Congratulations to the owners, the architect and builders. As a surf coast regular, I'll keep my eye out on my coastal walks.

Unfortunately I think you’ll be on that list for quite some time, this is definitely the family’s forever home! But it’s such a great outcome, I can see why they wouldn’t think about leaving.

What a fascinating house - really seems to promote a sense of wellness and individuality. Kudos to the architect!

It’s definitely a head-turner, during filming I noticed vehicles slowing down and walkers having a good look as they go past.

really love how the design responses to the environmental challenges in effective ways..

I love the analysis of all of the design choices. Everything has a purpose. The exterior of the cantilevered section is a bit cold (and I say this as someone who loves modernism), but overall, it's a beautiful design. The warmth of the interior is quite a contrast. Looks like a beautiful area architecturally. Beach homes in the Northeast of the United States are far more stodgy. Architecture has moved backwards here.

By design, this house is extraordinarily luxurious. however, does the noise become a problem in the long term?

Antonio, how are u? Still gloomy over there huh Love the beach meets tropical house. Tbh this is the house and environment i wud love to live! Both surfing and vistas wud be a sight to be hold! Again d contrast of timber n steel is warm yet neutral with the muted palette. The use of vertical lines around home is minimal-japanese. Like the proportion of the home n d wide space it gives to family. Night shot wud be amazing to catch! This needs drone shots too! I love how d archi harness on both all d elements of nature and sustainability n maintainability. He have tot abt the design n function of the home.

Hi Noah! I really loved the landscape entry courtyard, really had a “internal garden” vibe about it. But in actuality, there’s so much I love about the house, particularly the timber used internally.

wondering if the subtle playlist music was on mute here??
@SimpleDwelling2 жыл бұрын
There was still music, but turned down pretty low. Have had a few comments in previous videos that the background music can get a bit loud. Now I guess I went too soft? Haha

I was trying an editing technique, but based on a few comments, I’ve just confused people! The idea was to draw you in with a statement that they don’t finish so you feel compelled to watch more to find out what they said…

Has no one noticed that it's a monster that completely dominates the streetscape? Some good bits internally, but it's an homage to gigantic egos.
