Gorgeous house, I love how they managed to keep the original pressed ceilings, the new section of the house is bright and airy. I love Australian architecture 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰, the climate definitely a big influence on the design 👌😁

Spacious & modern . Calm , to unwind type of home. I like the light that comes in through the house. I really enjoy the way you explain what was done to the house. Keeping the original ceiling , a plus . Lovely layout .

Love the "Melbourne Mediterranean" update term..have seen a lot of these in my time..truly fabulous transformation indeed..unsure how I feel about the absence of overheads..needed something there perhaps but would detract from and obscure the skylights.. what a wonderful result by owner/builder and Architect. Congrats👏

The decor matches n "don't" mix well with all d elements. They have done am impressive reno/upcycle with d home.In looooove with d courtyard to me is d focal point. I didnt see a big formal dining table. It shud situate when d ivy creeps up sooner. Ive seen blueland in both Korea n Japan household. Good demo! I like the "no overhead cupboards" but the blank space needs a beautiful tile.

If the space is available for no overhead cupboards then I say no overhead cupboards it is. It's my preference for numerous reasons. Cumbersome to clean and reach mainly, and a kitchen appears more serene and peaceful and easier to work in.

I renovated my kitchen last year and we don't have upper cabinets, we have tall built-in "towers" for the fridge and freezer and another "tower" on either side of them, mostly to hide structural beams. I got some confused looks from my builder and kitchen guy. But I was working with a tricky space and no upper cabinets was the best solution.

Its clear who ever designed that kitchen doesn't cook haha. A kitchen of that size and you cram the stove into the opposite corner from the fridge, place the sink is on the island corner. Imagine you want to fry an egg or boil a pot of water, you would have to walk the full kitchen! You would clock up 10,000 steps making breakfast.

In order to avoid the use of plastic is: NOT TO PRODUCE IT ON THE FIRST PLACE, everything else is greenwashing. So if I understand well, what's the material at the top on those bottles? 🤡
