Oh wow Cancun is my favourite all time holiday destination. I’ve been 3 times to Playa Del Carmen. Twice to the same resort. The beaches are incredible and it’s mandatory to see the sun rising on your first day with the jet lag. That omelette looked amazing. I’m really going to enjoy this series. Jimmy has grown up really quickly. A fine young man.

The WiFi was incredible throughout the resort and we could even connect down on the beach. The rooms have safe's and they are a good size too (bigger than the ones we are used to when we go to Orlando) 👍

Hi Lee, the transfer wasn't that bad and was an hour at tops. The resort it a bit out of the way for excursions etc (although very handy for a trip to Isla Majures) but if you are planning on a manority of resort days I wouldn't say it's a problem 😎

Our daughter bought the biggest inflatable on our recent trip to Tenerife. It was a giant ice cream that she insisted we bring home 😂 the hotel looks really lovely. I love there is so much variety of places to eat

I absolutely love your videos. You and Jim are epic. Me and the misses are going soon. We've watching so many KZbin videos about PH and yours are the best. So informative and filled with useful information. I've got a few questions but I appreciate that your holiday was a while ago, so no worries if you don't have the answers. Did you take USD or Pesos? Did you struggle to get a sun lounger? Did you wait a long time for breakfast buffet? Did you wear swim shorts during the day? Do they have the same drinks all over the resort?

Thanks ever so much. We took a mixture of peso & USD and both were widely accepted and appreciated by the staff. There are loads of sunbeds plus the beach so we never had an issue. If you want one of the free cabanas you will need to be up early. We never waited long for the breakfast buffet but we are fairly early risers naturally. We spent our days in swimwear and the drinks were fairly consistent everywhere from memory. Have a great time & I hope this helps 😎👍

Hi Trevor and thanks ever so much. We tipped housekeeping and the person that re stocked the mini bar each day. We did tip at the restaurants and at the pool. It's entirely discretionary - some times we would do a couple of dollars every other drink or 10 if we knew we would be by the pool for a long period. The staff work really hard and are appreciative. It's very much a tipping culture like the USA.

We walked through 26 daily. Brilliant location - close to the main buffet (some days we got a takeaway box and took breakfast up to our room) and close to Fuel coffee shop. It's nice and quiet at night too and overlooking the golf course. You will have a great Ocean view up on the 5th floor too. Would love to hear your thoughts after you've been ❤️

Hi Kerry and thank you. We booked it as a package with TUI but we could never get the room selector to work on the website. I have contact details for room selecting which you are welcome to if you want to drop me an email. Personally, I don’t think the swim up rooms would have been for us and I'd worry about damp with the ground floor. I don't know if you have seen our Abu Dhabi videos but the WB Hotel is the best place we have ever stayed and couldn't recommend it enough ❤️

Personally, I would book a standard room if they want £900 and then try to organise with the Hotel. We had an amazing view from our room (27501) and I've checked the emails and we paid $70 (USD)

Hi Katie. Yes, all the restaraunts are included on the family side. There are a couple of adult only / star class restaraunts just for those guests.

Hi Tim, yes - we booked with Tui and were given the immigration form on the plane so we had it all filled out before we landed (top and bottom sections). Be sure to keep hold of the section that you get to keep for your return flight 👍

Hi, it is at your discretion and the better the service the bigger the tip. For a table service evening meal we tended to tip 10usd and a couple of dollars per round of drinks by the pool as examples.

Totally agree. It has all the potential in the world if only they utilised it properly. We would 100% go back to Mexico. We had a fantastic time and came back feeling so refreshed. We still prefer the hustle and bustle of an Orlando holiday but Jimmy is all about the pool and chill now 😎😂 It did make a lovely change though
