People like michael are so rare in this world. He was way too good for this world. I can relate to him because like Mike I always see the good in everyone but overtime unfortunately I’ve learnt that most humans have an agenda and will trample on you to get to where they need to be. It’s taken a while for me to understand this as I was raised to treat people just like I want to be treated. Michael had a heart of gold and even today 11 years after his passing people are mean and awful about him. He was such a good person. Michael's life was so sad and tragic. He didn't have a normal life, he grew up on the stage so it's natural that he was very good at knowing the stage and he was good at business but what he wasn't good at was people which is why he was so easy to take advantage of. Even Lisa warned him about the people in his life but he didn't listen to her but he did call her in 2005 once the trial was about to start and told Lisa she was right about the people in his life. I don't want to make him a victim of everything b/c he should've learned his lesson especially after the 1993 allegation. It was okay to let people visit neverland but he should've kept the main house off limits and if guests wanted to stay the night he should've let them stay in the guest house.

I know that a lot of fans, especially those in other countries besides the United States, sometimes like to divorce Michael from his blackness (I have a point here. Just wait), but Michael was born and raised by a black family. I say that to say this: In the black community, especially moreso back then, though it's getting better now, black people didn't believe in psychiatry. It was severely taboo to look for help outside of yourself. I think people thought that psychiatry was for those who were extremely mentally disturbed. And in the black community (in the United States at least), if you needed help, you turn to God or the church. A lot of black people suffered through a lot of trauma and mental illness in their lives because we were taught that there was shame in admitting we need help. And I am guessing that Michael may have been the same way. Not that Michael was against psychiatry, but maybe not something he believed in partaking in himself, among possible other reasons.
@kaylenejantjes81133 жыл бұрын
@@Michaelology1958 yeah, that's definitely a possibility. I think being a man makes it worse because society is a lot harder on men when they show signs of weakness in their emotions or admit they don't have their stuff together.

Being bullied inside your own family must be awful. Moreover not being recognised as the best as he was , must have been unbearable. Luckyly the fans adored Michael for his skills , his kind heart and capacity to forgive. The nose problem and the need to better their physical aspect is certainly a thing the Jackson s brothers and sisters all had in common. Look at their pictures and you can easily see that all of them went under the knife to reduce their noses and to correct their black characteristics. I truly enjoyed this mini documentary. I understand the mental illness that amplifies these these thinking patterns and have had to make a very conscious effort not to be swallowed up by eating disorders myself. My mother suffered from anorexia for many years and after such open conversations and talking about the true emotions that come with an eating disorder, I may understand the mindset and need for a feeling of control more than most. If I didn’t have support workers and specialist with their fingers on the pulse I can see that it would have easily been part of my life story as well. I’m truly sorry a legend couldn’t see the greatness we all saw so easily and collectively. I send love and healing thoughts to all suffering from anorexia and bulimia.

I can relate to MJ with hating how you look and eating disorder. This really just helped me see how I've got some of these habits he had. Definitely got to get some help & change. Michael Jackson's my favorite musician & I look up to him so much. It breaks my heart that he suffered like this. It breaks my heart so many people suffer from eating disorders & hate the way they look. Nobody deserves that at all. I am sorry this was long but thank you for this video.

Michael didn't have anorexia, he never said anything so I don't believe that. Do you think he didn't eat cause he saw himself like a fat man? Come on
@mymelody62083 жыл бұрын
@@DuranSarah You don't have to feel fat to suffer from anorexia. In the video said that Michael was not under the control of nothing more than his own power, and I believe it. Moreover, he was still a perfectionist

Ive suffered from a ED all my life but it got bad about 5 years ago but have only really been receiving help for it about 2 1/2 years ago. I totally understand & connect to Michael. It’s sad that more people in his life didn’t take notice & maybe try & help. I was bad enough that my family stepped in & basically forced me to get help. It’s something I struggle with daily & still see a professional for to this day. I know it could not have been easy for him. I know what it feels like. It’s a awful feeling to have some one comment on your weight at all even if they think it’s a complement. I always advise people to avoid bringing up a person weight because you never have any idea what they’re going through.
@mjsliberiangirl7503 жыл бұрын
That's a blessing you have received some help with that. We all should not avoid any problems a person has, because any body can be in jeopardy of anything. I do understand your point of view about not bringing up about a person's weight, but maybe some people are cautious, concerned, probably worried about someone's health and we'll being, just like Michael's mother with Michael👈🏾 that is because Mrs. Jackson has love for Michael. So, I believe it's a way of showing and expressing your thoughts and feelings. If someone is bullying a person about their weight and talking about a person insultingly, then that's a problem. But if a person is concerned, showing love and care for the person, then I believe that should be alright
@TheHollywoodmomo3 жыл бұрын
@@mjsliberiangirl750 absolutely agree concern for another is the best reason to comment on someone’s weight. I guess what I was trying to express was the details poll on Instagram asking if Michael looked better thinner or with more weight & I can’t tell you how triggering that is for someone with a ED when I was at my most sick & lowest weight people constantly made comments to me about how great I looked or how proud they were of me for losing weight meanwhile I wasn’t eating anything at all & was making myself sick on purpose. I think it’s important to discuss these issues & I think it’s great to humanize someone like Michael & struggles he might have gone through I just hate the polls or questions about when he might have looked better. To me that goes against the purpose of a video series like this....
@mjsliberiangirl7503 жыл бұрын
@@TheHollywoodmomo I understand. I don't like how that question sounds either. When it comes to this situation Michael was in, asking that question I find insulting. Even though I do think he is always handsome inside out, it really doesn't matter the appearance of a person, it matters what's inside them (personality, their state of mind/heart etc.)

There are many inconsistencies in this video. Everyone knows that Michael Jackson had anorexia. But on the other hand, the strict diet helped him keep his body at ease. That's why he moved so well. And what about drugs, I absolutely don't believe !!!

He was somewhat at a healthy weight (even a bit overweight with a tummy) in the early 2000’s, that was before the trial. The constant stressors of that level of fame will affect anyone’s eating habits, some run towards food during times of stress, others away from it. I think it’s a bit far fetched to say his low weight contributed to his sudden death, however.

When growing up as a performer, MJ was a perfectionist👌, who over the years increasingly modified his appearance to match his performances and his artistic vision.
