I work for a commercial detailing company and we work with a lot of dealerships in our area. The newer ford trucks are hands down my favorite vehicle to work on. The back seats lifting up, how well the floormats work, and how easy the material of the carpets and interior plastics are to clean makes them so nice to clean. I always get excited when we get on in our shop.

I know you won't see this, but I wanted to thank you for posting your videos. I have severe anxiety to the point of self-harm. Your detailing is so calming. You always do things in the same order. I know that once the car is foamed I will see you with your brush cleaning the door handles, around the gas tank lid/inside, and on to the name plate. Also, seeing the water change color when your running the extractor gives me a sense or peace. I'm sure it sounds weird, but I'm in my 50's and I'm still trying to find ways to cope and your videos really help. Thanks!

I worked at a truck wash pressure washing tractor trailers all day for years. I have found the only way to easily clean out mud packed fenders is to first soak them with an aggressive cleaning solution then blast it with the pressure washer. To get all the mud stuck on the inner wall where you can't really get a regular wand we used one that was bent to 90 degrees to directly spray that area since a ton of mud gets stuck into that area & the next time they drive in the rain it will start to drip down onto everything if not fully removed.

Have you ever thought of offering some kind of chassis protection spray? I’ve just bought a product for my XJ Jeep called Lanoguard. Really watery and sprays on. Once it’s set it dries like a waxy finish. It’s jet wash proof and fully protects against rust. I think something like this offered to your clients would be a real plus and a nice (quick) way of you making some extra bucks on truck details. It doesn’t take long to apply at all. I’m based just outside London, England and I love your videos!

I spent over 15 thousand for a 30 by 30 slab of concert and a metal from and walls and roof, I just bought the pressure washer today, it's 4300 psi a stationary one its all electric but it was super price, 5 grand for that but its also really nice. It has a nice soap attachment as well as a scrubber bay that automaticlly cleans a big soft squeegee on a handle, but it uses soap to clean it also with pressure. Im in love with cleaned my car and gfs today in around 10 minutes both were sparkling clean!

Man i cant help but admire the quality build of that car, everything looks so nice. There are probably a lot of those in Canada and yet this truck shines a little bit more than the rest. I love it! Especially when detailed 😁 . There are some cars that there's just something rare and special about them and you know it when you see it. You know same goes for women 😉. Grats on the effort for this beaty Detail Geek, it looks awesome!

These videos inspire me to start my own journey as a detailer. Questions if I may. How long a job like this take you? How long does the average job take you?

That is a nice one. Not your usual rolling dumpsters, instead just a dirty truck. Good job!

When I come across black plastic pieces that have been damaged by chemicals that alter the color I sometimes use black car wax to mask it since I can't replace it. Makes it look 100x better than what it did before. Can't do anything for warped pieces though. Also sometimes a heat gun can help pull the color back out too.

I like to prewet/presoak the entire vehicle first before working on each part. It gives time to loosen the dirt over the whole vehicle while the area we work on is being cleaned.

I doubt you will see this! But your channel inspired me to leave my full time job of almost 15 years and take my detailing business full time! Was scary, I am a father to 4 kids. I left and started it last June, I have been consistently booked about 3 weeks out! Thank you. Also I’m very curious as to when and how you decide to wear your respirator! Do you use it when your use certain chemicals? When you bust out the steamer? Or when you combine the chemicals and the steam? Thanks in advance!

It hasn't been that long since we last saw a customer reaction. Very recently, there was one of a woman who came into the garage and there were many comments about how she seemed less than enthused or had a very minor reaction to your work. To each his own, of course. But yes, this guy's reaction was pretty good. 🙂

Where does the water go after you pour it into the basin which seems to be getting pretty full in all the videos I have watched so far. The reason I ask is because I am interested in having the same set up.
