Deep Cleaning a DISASTER Farm Car! | The Detail Geek
This Ford Fusion rolled in off the farm and was a disgusting mess! The driver's seat had some NASTY stains and the trunk was FULL of dirt! The transformation this car makes is unbelievably epic!

That was a pretty amazing recovery of that fusion. It's always tough to make a white car like that shine and gleam. The driver seat was a mix of fun colors that you removed. Now it looks like it has never been at the farm. I just got more gifts delivered from your site. I am always thrilled to see products that do what they claim! That bug remover is a miracle solution. Watching you work is always a pleasure. Thanks for a great kick off to Friday Mitch!

Mitch is undercharging for these details. He charges $250 for an exterior and interior detail for an SUV. He spends 10-12 hours. He supplements his income with his KZbin channel. That's the only way being that meticulous at that price is worth it. He's also stated previously that he has never charged the $50/hr for any excessively dirty vehicle. They way he transforms these vehicles, should be > $1000 for these details.

Yes that was a averagely dirty vehicle but I would definitely recommend a stronger and more powerful extractor. I have been detailing for a years now and I started off with a bissel spotclean professional. Yes it WILL do the tasks you are needing it to do but the question is how long will it take to complete that task. I upgraded to a mytee grand Prix about 6 months ago and I will never go back to the bissel ever again. The mytee has 210 degree fahrenheit water that it sprays out and extremely strong suction. It has cut all the time, energy, sweat, and tears out of trying to extract carpets. I think you might want to upgrade your extractor Mitch because its a extreme money and time saver, sincerely -OCDetailer

Love your videos and look forward to them every Friday. Couple of questions one the seats and carpet cleaning. The seats and carpets often seem super saturated with cleaner/ water to get them clean. Is there such thing as too much? Any concerns with water not drying and causing mold? Or is it simply a matter of extracting as much moisture possible?
@blueshrimp6716

I would say if hot summers day just extract what you can once applying spray. And it'll dry quick. If winter then whack heat on full with AC on for an hour. I'd say it doesn't matter too much how much you apply the extractor always get it down to a "damp" level then let the heat do the rest.

Any car that a farmer or his family owns is a "farm car". Doesn't mean it's used in daily farm work. Just mostly driven in dirt roads.

I am happy that the time management question was asked and answered, because I thought that all of your detailing jobs were completed in one day. And I must ask about your choice of music, because this music is very relaxing, and I wish you could list these tunes along with the artist if there isn't a legal problem.

Quite a transformation, especially the seats and interior. Two questions for you: Curious why you don't pre-treat the bugs before the pressure wash? Have you ever thought of doing a detailing Q&A, using your products of course. Great job--looking forward to the next garage video. Thx

I’ve had a question for a while but keep forgetting to ask. I know nothing about detailing but love your videos. I notice that when you are doing the detail brushes and vacuuming on the interior, you follow the vacuum with the brush. Wouldn’t following the brush with the vacuum help collect the dust/dirt/debris the brush is kicking up? Thank you!

I’m a mechanic by trade and pretty picky about the appearance of my vehicles. However, my seat belt always seems to get so filthy from my hands no matter how clean I think they are. Just curious how you handle a gross seat belt. I’m sure you’ve done it, but I dont recall ever seeing that in any of your videos. Thanks for the content!

I have a question . How do you make sure the seats are dry enough for the customer to have a seat in it ? Usually when you sit on a moist sponge it lifts the water up and can be very difficult.

Always love the glamour shots of the rims at the end of the detail for some of these, tire has that nice shine, the spokes on the rim are super slick and look like brake dusk will fall off if you look at it hard enough, but the lip looks like who ever was driving just rode the curb for 100 miles
