This car was the SMELLIEST I've ever detailed and had some incredibly NASTY stains! Needless to say, my respirator was on and the transformation this car made was truly INCREDIBLE!

Great work as always. DG is a magician. With that said, I wanted to say be careful commenting on these vids. Last week I made a comment and the owner's friend or relative came at me with some pretty nasty retorts. Don't put your personal business out there if you don't want the viewers to comment. Good, bad or indifferent you should expect feedback.

As a former smoker (I quit for good in August 2021), this makes me even more happy that I quit. I stopped smoking in vehicles when I found out I was pregnant with my first daughter. And my goodness...the smell from years and years smoking in a vehicle just doesn't air out overnight. You don't realize how bad the smell is until you quit. It wasn't easy to do so, but I am proud to say that I have conquered the nasty habit. You do such an amazing job on detailing. If I didn't live all the way in Virginia, I'd happily bring my vehicle to you because I know the job would be done right! Keep up the great work!

I smoked too and quit too when I found out I was pregnant. When my daughter was 6 months old my brother in law and husband needed to get the jack out the back of my car to rotate my tires. I came outside and walked to the hood of my car and I could smell cigarettes from that far away...

The amount of work this man goes through is amazing. He pressure washes the dirt off the car, cleans every little detail, takes out parts of the car to clean the interior, vacuums it, scrubs it, and a lot more. Spends many days cleaning it while filming. After he’s done he has to clean his garage. Then edits his long hours of work into a 25-35 min video. He deserves way more views and subscribers

When you described the smell, I instantly thought of bong water with air freshener layered over it! I hate that stuff, but I have some friends that smoke. Spilled bong water stank is the absolute worst smell ever! Its like skunky mildew or something.
@kevinr.3542
@kevinr.3542 2 жыл бұрын
Bong water is bad but trust me it gets worse. I had a skunk spray me in the face while walking at night, it went right up my nose and instantly overwhelmed me. I kept puking and was unable to escape the taste and smell that was choking me. Every breath was hell. It was so strong it doesn't really smell like skunk at that intensity. IN fact i didnt even know it was a skunk at first. Its indescribable really, it had almost a garlic smell. But some kind of rotten, putrid, intense garlic that would make you sick instantly. I took like 3 showers and still tasted it and smelled it. I'm getting sick just remembering it. It was beyond foul and traumatizing. I'm sure it gets even worse. Like when a homeless man dumped a bucket of diarrhea on some lady. I would rather drink bong water than go thru either of those experiences.

I know right?!!! I took my car to a mechanic once. When I got it back, it reeked like cigarette smoke so bad. Took me a month to get rid of the smell. Nothing I did would get rid of the smell. Had to put 2 bowls of baking soda inside my car (one in the front, one in the back) to get rid of the smell, and that’s what finally did it. I really needed someone like him to clean my car out because that smell was strong as hell.

As a detailer myself, when people ask me when they should get their vehicles cleaned I always them spring and fall, you’re going into the summer with a nice clean fresh vehicle and heading into fall/winters with a nice clean vehicle and throughout the winter, a good spray off to get the salt and debris off is key
@gregkrueger331

@@Blakecryderman7244 Your 06 is definitely better materials than newer Toyotas they have gotten very cheap lately. I have a '12 and the sheet metal is very thin and the interior plastics are rather cheap. The engines might still run but keep in mind a 15 Corolla will also have a CVT and we don't know of many CVTs that go as long as older conventional automatics. I really feel like other brands have caught up to and/or passed Toyota in build quality - not saying anything about mechanically though.

I use my personal car to haul varies items around. Sometimes if it is food or liquids, it can spill on the seats if tops of containers come loose or not put on tight. Or maybe someone was very messy person.

I used to be in the Coast Guard. At one point I was offered a room in the barracks. The room reeked of cigar smoke from the previous occupant. No matter what I did, I couldn't get rid of it. The folks that were responsible for the building eventually, many months later, came into my room and cleaned the carpet. The odor was gone after that. I was blown away. I never realized how much smell (and other things) can get trapped into carpets. From that day forward I've always thought of carpets as a giant paper towel on the floor.

Hey Mitch, when a car goes from normal to disaster and you charge hourly, does the hourly charge come with everything or do you still bill for certain things (shampoo, leather) seperate?

Does the amount of water hurt at all the electrical systems inside of the seat? Also, How long does it take for these seats to dry?

I love this channel and have watched a bunch of these detailing videos. Only thing I’d love to see at the end is some wider shots on the final reveal of both interior and exterior. The close ups are awesome but I struggle to take it all in…. Could just be my brain. Lol. Anyway; awesome content!!

I wish you could clean my 2016 Corolla! my local detailer can’t seem to get the stains out of the seats and I don’t doubt that you could get them looking new again! and yes, the mats are really terrible quality. great video as always.

A good tip for vacuuming especially cheap carpet is use a to agitate as you follow with the vac, but the is one of those massage, the old ones that were flat work ok but to bulky, the new vertical ones they have that just has the massager exposed almost pistol style works the best
