I recently replaced a storm-damaged roof. I was happy to pay more out-of-pocket for the upgrade. It looks much better and can stand up to higher winds.

My favorite part of this video is the smoothing tool. These workers are talented professionals with cement. Watching the cement smoothing to the corners and sides was true perfection. My favorite part of the construction videos is seeing the excitement in your eyes and hearing it in your voice! It’s pretty cool to watch someone’s dreams come to fruition and sharing that vicariously with everyone!

I was so impressed with the professional concrete workers! They did a beautiful job and made it look easy. I’ve watch people pour concrete floors when they didn’t have enough manpower or expertise and the end results looked very different. It is always so satisfying to watch people take pride in their work. Excellent work is why you are so successful!

The way you do concreting in Canada is way different then what we do here In Australia, usually if we are doing internal work we put the chairs under the mesh before we pour and we usually don't use wheel barrows we usually use a concrete pump with lines and we use a concreting vibrator instead of raking the concrete to the height and our concreting screeds have handles on the top and also has a level inside the screed so it's easier to see if the concrete is level but the way you did it Mitch is still bloddy awsome at least it looks bloddy amazing can't wait for part 3 ❤

This was my concern as well. The rebar should have been place on chairs or at least lifted so that it was centered in the concrete. The rebar lying on the floor does nothing to reinforce the concrete.

Wow…everything’s really coming together. The best part was seeing them smooth finish the concrete. PLEASE do a short or something of you cleaning all that mud off your truck tires🤞🏽

My father was a stone mason/brick layer and did a lot of concrete work over a 60 year period (as well as foundry work). I had fun watching them lay the concrete. I’m going to show him this video. He’ll love it. I’m so proud of you for making your dreams come true. Congrats!! 🍾🎈

Hooray! we have a floor! The last time I was so happy about the floor was when my apartment was built. Timelapse was great. I have a feeling the studio is being built in the middle of nowhere, Mitch will you be alone far out in the desert?

The best part of the video is you! So very cute. Next best was the concert work. My dad was a concert truck driver and he just poured the mix and others did the floating, he mostly did big commercial pours. This has brought back very fond memories of my dad!

Mike do you need to clean your studio waste water in Canada? In Germany you need oil separators as well as other chemical separators as you can't release these things into the public drainage system. This new studio is mega cool!!! Thanks for recording this, very interesting!!!

I feel like filming everything is giving the workers incentive to be efficient and having the client there too. We had some construction done on our house and we caught the guys slacking off a few time so we made to be home when they were there to ensure they were working hard
