DevilDog, China is not capable of invading America. They lost during the Sino-Vietnamese Border War with heavy casualties. They do not even have a Joint-branch command and do not plan to have one. The Chinese Army is a wing of the CCP, not an army of China. It's like if the Democrats in the USA had an army. The PLA Navy sent their best submarine crews onto a single ship to train for a month, and the ship sank literally hours after launching, all hands lost. The PLA Air force does not have any long-ranged bombers. Their H-5 Hongzai bombers are from the 60's. Most of the PLA infrastructure is corrupt. This year alone saw waves of these "anti-corruption campaigns." in which CCP regimes basically knock out other regime party leaders within their own party. China does not have any long ranged ICBM's. They have regional ICBMs made to target India or Japan, not the USA. The PLA Navy has one aircraft carrier bought from Russia. They had the task of refurbishing a Ukrainian aircraft carrier, and 1 week after it was complete, it had to be sent back due to a major engine failure. The PLA Navy has no long-ranged troop transports and amphibious carrier ships.

You could have the shittiest equipment in the world but still be able to do effective damage if you are able to coordinate all sides. That's one of their biggest weaknesses. Well that and, for example, our troops carry around $18,000 worth of equipment individually, while Chinese troops only carry about $1,200, so obviously their equipment is really low quality to say the least. To add to that, the different political parties have to stop disagreeing with each other almost to the point of fighting before they could try something. I mean, the PLA was supposedly intending to invade Taiwan, which is like the US invading Hawaii... Yea... At this point in time honestly, I think we could challenge them or have them attempt an invasion and do far more than jus hold our own.

Well, if you count studying communist party propaganda as military training, then sure. Also, china may have a lot of dudes in their military, but most of them are gone after a month. American marine equipment is also a hell of a lot better than a chinese soldiers equipment (gear, rifle, etc.). They also have no joint-military operations to have the army, navy, air force, etc. work together. They have also lowered the physical standards for joining twice, because of recruits being too weak or having poor eyesight. Which means that a lot of times, if a U.S marine gets into a fistfight with a chinese guy, the Marine will surely win.

But from the bits of news that I've picked up, the PRC government is hella corrupt(and most likely their military is too). Also, yes, their military is mainly comprised of conscripts, and their training is intense but not up to standards as ours or another NATO country's.

I had this theory awhile back that the regular military was in the Middle East for two actual reasons, logistics, and keeping people distracted, no one's gonna wonder what SF's doing with regulars there, right? If the regulars weren't there, operators wouldn't be able to get ahold of the supplies they need as easily, plus the media would scrutinize to the point where either OPSEC would be compromised, or they'd have to start hushing people up, one gets people killed, the other gets people angry.

There is only one advantage the NKSOF have. Knowledge of terrain, and devotion. The North Korean government are some paranoid motherfuckers. Any war with them would be bloody, short, and followed by the most insurmountable humanitarian crisis we have ever seen, coupled an insurgency, with every single victim believing you caused the crisis itself.
