No matter what platform he’s using.. singing, acting, podcast guest… his personality just oozes such an easy going, goofy, funny, and thoroughly entertaining nature! It was obviously such an enjoyable interview for you too Steven and that also made it really special to watch!❤❤❤

I'm 63 and I love Michael Buble. It's like listening to Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Nat King Cole and all the greats wrapped up in this one person. All his stealing refined his style and identity as a singer. It's nice to listen to all of them when he opens his mouth to sing. Love it. Thnx for the very interesting people on this show.

I was never a huge Michael Buble fan; I liked 'Home' but didn't listen to much of his music. Then I took my wife to a concert of his. It was in a huge stadium that is known for its lack of intimacy and poor sound quality. He came on stage alone and started singing to what I thought was a backing track. 'oh boy,' I thought - his singing was good...but... Then, a curtain dropped. There was a small band, and he went up a notch. Then another dropped, and by the third or fourth song, there was a full band, and he had me. We were in the last row, and I felt as if I was in the front row. He sang to us. Directly. In the final song, the band disappears; it's just Michael. Then, he dropped the microphone and sang the last few words of the show. We were the only people in a small room with Michael...and at that moment I fell in love with Michael Buble. And I'm not afraid to admit it. Since then, I have watched several videos of him - I especially like the one where he plays Deon from South Africa, selling hi-fi in a London store. I will even tolerate him singing Christmas songs. That takes real magic.

Hello Steven , I’m Reggie. I’m 57, gay,dealing (currently) with physical disabilities mental health issues and I’m homeless. Well technically I’m in an assisted living facility. I say all of this to say that though I’m in a challenging place in my life as so many of us are, that your podcast pulls me up! It pulls me up and lifts me out of my self doubts and depression and allows me the space to see that I’m not alone and understanding that I have the capacity to reframe what I know happiness can be for me. Your interviewing style is BRILLIANT! You are so tuned into your guests and the thing I’m most impressed with is that you don’t have this need to make it all about you. You understand on a very deep level that people like me really need to hear what the guests have to share . You don’t need their story to make you look good or cool or important. You listen and you adjust to what they’re sharing and it’s very moving. I will say though you do from time to time piss me off because you make me like people that I don’t want to like or empathize with people I didn’t think I would. I writing this as I’m watching Michael Buble and I’m blown away by his story. So bravo to you ! I’m proud of you as a YOUNG BLACK ACCOMPLISHED AND TUNED IN MAN! I make a point to emphasize black man because I feel we don’t say it enough to each other and I feel that it’s tantamount to our self worth. Thank you, keep doing you and BTW I LISTENED TO THE BOOK 3 TIMES AND ITS WORKING FOR ME AND THE HUEL SITUATION IS VERY GOOD….PEACE. RS

What a lovely comment to give someone. I am sorry you are in such a difficult place right now, but here’s what I thought : Your post is incredibly observant, insightful, articulate and positive. You stand up for what you believe in and I agree , you don’t need to apologise for celebrating a young black man succeeding - positive role models are SO POWERFUL My point is - that all of this is testimony of admirable qualities that so many people don’t have. These are riches that YOU have . Use them and feel proud that you really do have lots to offer this world a🌍. Happy Xmas and happy continual reframing

I have always felt Michael was in his own class. For me that is what makes him SPECIAL. I have always thought this when ever I hear him singing. I'm so glad that he is in his own class. I love and grew up with Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr., etc. They are much older than me. I was born 1957. So they were already in their 20's. But sadly we are losing these wounderful artists. Time waits for no man. Even I am in my older age now but as long as I am here I still want to hear those old song. I just as much enjoy Michael's original songs too. I want to go home, is my favorite song of Michael's. I think that's the name of it. I shared this love on MB with my daughter and back in 2007 she was working in Geneva for the year. I had a trip planned to go over and see her. When we found out Michael was appearing in a concert in Lyon, France, I bought tickets for us to go see him even before I even left Canada. What an evening. We will never forget it. The highlight was when Michael jumped off the stage and came down into the audience. Well, we were out of our seats in a flash and pushed to get close to him yelling “Hey Michael, We’re from Canada!!” Well he came up to us stopped for a brief second. We will never forget that moment and were on a high as we left the concert for the drive back to Geneva.

I'm a big Paul Anka fan as well. It doesn't surprise me that he helped Michael Bluble.

I love Michael’s honesty about himself and if Sinatra and Harry Connick Jr can act, and act well, then so can Michael Bublè.

Exactly what I was thinking. No false modesty there, just proud of his talent 😀…..

I love Michael, with all my heart, since I heard Everything for the first time when it was just out, I never looked back since. I don't listen to music as much as I used to, but everytime I see this beautiful human being of a Mike, or hear his beautiful, most amazing covers of Christmas songs, that made me fall in love with music and sinning, and being myself. I am like whole again, and everything is ok! God bless you Mike and thank you Steve, very much for Inviting one of our heroes.

Omg so much more of a fan now. Thanks for keeping it real Michael! So cool as a Vancouver girl of a similar age to hear you mention getting your start in Bubaloos and the Purple Onion and living on Capitol Hill. Takes me back half a lifetime. You’re a beautiful human Mr. Buble. Happy Holidays! ❤

Love Michel Bublé’s voice and another beautiful voice is Harry Connick, Jr. from New Orleans- one of his piano mentors was the late great Ellis Marsalis! He would also be a fantastic interview!

"Home" is my favorite song. I remember watching Michael Buble perform years ago in Berkeley, CA and he sings live just as beautifully as his albums. Of his Christmas songs, I like "Cold December Night" best. He is definitely going to be remembered for more than his Christmas songs. He is so warm, funny, and talented.

Then he shouldn't have told her he wanted to k*ll her. Loving husbands don't do that, nor do they jab their elbow's into their wives sides in order to silence them. He's not a man. He's a cowardly brute.
@KP-mb9jx9 ай бұрын
Really? You belive that? There's video evidence of him bully her on KZbin.
@isabellind12929 ай бұрын
@@KP-mb9jx Yeah, what about the part where Buble told his wife (and mother to their children) he wanted to k*ll her and that she was dead to him and jabs her in the ribs when she dares interrupt him! No wonder the only gig he can get is in plagiarizing other Canadian artists so he can schmooze & serenade other like-minded abusers like (former prince) harry...birds of a feather flock together.
