From one who suffers dreadfully with abandonment issues, Professor Green is truly inspiring with everything he’s had to endure. Thank heavens for the matriarchs of his family. Have always been impressed with Professor Green. For past two years i have been bringing up my grandson, who is now 4. He too has had a lot of gut issues which i feel are down to his difficult start in life. Hearing stephen say that his grandmother formed him into the man he is today has given me confidence that my grandson’s future can still be happy.

For some it's enough to overcome anxiety, for others it's merely a small step in the right direction. Straight to the point but I lost my dad just before Christmas he was my best mate which I feel grieving two losses at the same time, but what speaks to me the most from this pod is when green is talking about letting people go that aren’t good for you, quote “you can grief parts of your life” and The boys spoke about feeling like it’s selfish to realise that certain people around are what you need anymore and I think that’s why I’m struggling with is being selfish towards myself but like the boys said “you’re no good to yourself if you’re not good to yourself” I haven’t really made a point here more of a public realisation that it’s where I’m going wrong, and it feels good to put it out there

It's so comforting to hear a high profile figure, speak so candidly and concisely, about life's trials and tribulations. Steven @The Diary Of A CEO, buddy... Commit: Carry out or perpetrate a crime, or immoral act... Unfortunately, suicide; being a permanent fix to a temporary problem, still needs to stop being compared to committing a crime of murder, and more-so likened to something lesser, such as 'manslaughter' - "Took their own life."

@bigt432 жыл бұрын
For me it is hard to put into words something that you commented on during the interview, that while you may have had more educated or professionals at a higher level of expertise in life changing subjects in your studio for an interview, this interview with Professor Green, who, if I'm honest while I've enjoyed some of his music I've never particularly listened to intentionally had a really impactful message and communicated a lot, I feel I can relate to him soooo much more than I would have expected from the image of him I had as "just a music artist" but it's really enjoyable and rewarding even to get to hear about the person he is, God bless him for the struggles he's risen in the face of. I don't know if you'll read this comment but if you or perhaps other viewers care to answer a question I have relating to something Professor Green said earlier on in the interview, along the lines of not being above letting someone who's gotten further than you give you advice/ telling you how to do something. I'm with that logic I think that's absolutely right, but would any one disagree with standing by that if said person feels to you more like they're doing it for the virtue of being higher up than you, and being gratingly condescending with it?

I've had to endure the worst possible things in life, finding my father - my biggest supporter and the wisest, kindest and strongest person I know - dead on the floor. And living with longcovid that has ripped away so much passion and joy in things took for granted; the freedom to exercise and move around the way I did pre covid, a normal walk can leave me exhausted for the rest of the day, evevry day is a struggle and you never know how much energy you'll have that day only that it will abruptly end at some point - some times after 1 hour of just doing mundane things like cleaning the house will leave me totally spent for the rest of the day or sometimes if I'm lucky I can write some music for an hour and later after many hours of just resting I can go work out.

such an eloquent speaker for a male who grew up where he grew up., hackney in the 90s wasnt as it is now, certainly not gentrified.. and secondly the persona he portrayed as a music artist... he could have been embarrassed of becoming a man that uses intelligent vocabulary rather than consistent street slang avoiding understanding of well used positioning words, as much as he was a "rapper" for his crust early on in his career... it is great to hear him speak, he thinks a lot, having experienced a lot you can tell.
