I see a Zee review, I watch it. That's just how this works.

Very underrated game by the community, it has it all and it is super easy to play, very good with people who don`t play much on are not into heavy games too.

Nicely done, zee. I played this one at GenCon and really enjoyed it! It was great seeing you at the booth and chatting about the Arkham Horror LCG as well!

I just played this at a game cafe recently and was pleasantly surprised! It's like a more expansive version of Carcassonne. Definitely seems to have a lot of replayability.

Awesome. Was hoping this was as good as I was hearing. Day 1 purchase as soon as it hits the usual online stores. Thanx!

Great review. Got me to buy the game. Feel happy about that. (And I am not usually a Cathalian) One note: The boards are not different on the other side. They are merely rotated; not in any way distinct.

I’ve cooled on Ishtar. Seems like every game someone accidentally connects two gardens/fountains and we have to back track and try to fix it. The individual parts seem like they would be good but all together it falls flat for me. Perhaps I’m frustrated with the feeling like I’ve missed as much as I did.

This game looks great but I'm on a bit of a budget and have an upcoming game evening so can only get one game. Would you recommend this over bunny kingdom ?

These days you can get it for 5 bucks at the Dollar store apparently. What a pity.

Saw your score on Through the Desert; what sets this so far apart from TtD for you?

I can't understand - what is the importance of placing the trees on the board?
@Guudys Жыл бұрын
Trees are points (written on the corresponding tree card you keep in front of you once you've planted a tree). There's 1 skill that scores for flowerbeds adjacent to trees. Finally, you can place trees wherever you want on the grass circles so you can literally block an opponent from linking flowerbeds together for example.
@Guudys Жыл бұрын
Strategies vary and you don't need to necessarily focus on planting trees. You could focus on your skill board, on the fountains and flowerbeds, on the trees, it's up to you.

I see a Zee review, I put the speed to 1,5 and you not even get to the speed that Rahdo normally talks. 😂

Can you play this with 3 players? or does it have to be an even number of players?
@peterevensen Жыл бұрын
I just played it with 3 with no issues. You adjust the number of board pieces based on the number of players.

Looks like a very fun game. Can't wait to play it. That said - that cover...gee..wow..so bad.

It is really just another spatial abstract, it is really pretty, but there is nothing new here... This will be forgotten very quickly...
@hydra20194 жыл бұрын
What do you mean spatial abstract? I'm new to board games :\
@dddmmm214 жыл бұрын
@@hydra2019 It means it is an game where theme is extremely abstracted and that is about moving/positioning your pieces on a common board, considering the position and movements of your opponent on that same common space. Think chess.
