Hey guys. Great review as always. This addition of relatively few traits and occupations does basically double the combinations. (If they had actually included 50’snd 60 more cards as is original there would be over 100,000 combinations/scoundrels).

The base game was really bad, I regretted getting it. Sitting at a 5. And it was totally because getting the safe felt like just random luck and the bluffing felt short. This feels like it made it way better but once bitten twice shy. They should have released this in the base game.

Not just a great review but a brilliant simmering linguistic psychodrama from the team . Both Tom and Roy know that the plural of safe is safes not saves; Tom tries to preserve Zee’s honour and fudge a combo of the two, looking away from him as he says it only for Roy to go in for the kill with at least six well enunciated “safes!” in a row as Zee simmers in the corner trying not to blow. The hidden dramatic depths at the DT continue to impress! 😂

This was probably the original design of the game. They tried to milk it by stripping it down and making this part as an expansion. 💰
