Tournament at Camelot Review with Sam Healey

When we played it (6 player), going into the last round I had a considerable amount of health above the rest of the group. The group, intelligently, targeted me. I think I lost every trick except 2. It ended up being MUCH more than my life total left. In a very unfortunate round, I ended up going from first to last. It was an amazing time! I will say, some player powers seem to have much more presence on the table (the one that can switch the lowest as the loser to the highest as the loser) than others (the one that gets +3 to sword values). But it was still so much fun. Very glad I had the chance to play this game with all of you at Origins, Sam! Thanks for inviting us over to play.

Peak Your Interest remember she takes double damage! So she is powerful but hard to win with, IMO.

Jennifer Shannon Yep. We remembered that. But that powers table presence was much more felt than others. And the one with +3 to swords was almost non existent.

So this is Sam's 10th top game of all time now. Must be amazing! Certainly the visuals aren't jaw dropping or anything. Reminds me of Troyes, but even with the non-traditional artwork that game was pretty cool!

I know this video is over a year old, but I’ve never heard of this game before. I’m an avid player of French Tarot, I love how this game looks. Absolutely buying.

Have you tried Slovenian Tarock? Google it, it's by far the best trick-taking game I've ever played.

Really nice card game with a lot of twists with the different protagonists and godsent cards. I also adore the art style, but I know that is very individual.

This is a fun game but it feels like it was barely play tested. There are so many gray areas it becomes stressful. Hopefully WizKids will make a 2nd Gen. or Expansion because I love playing it. There are a few problems here and there. Definitely try before you buy.

lol... easy to just do take 2, if you made a mistake. That was random I must say. I don't understand the faint rule. Red font on video never works.

If you read comments from BGG it's not true that everybody likes this game. I think there are about as much gamers that dont like it as there are gamers which likes it. I have noticed that for many people the game is too chaotic and persons who likes chaos in the games loves it.

*Warning:* One of the worst Trickcarde games that i ever played !! Its look great but game near completely random. Usually that not that bad, but there are to much extra additional rules and cards that makes the game near total random. The groundplay is easy but there are so much additional rules that comes in play that famaliy play strike down. Rolecard of each players are incredible unballanced as well !! It feels like an early prototyp and total untested. I played 50 new games in a year .. .this was the worst since 2 years ! Total strange to me that DT like that ...

this is how i felt as well. the godsend cards are way too random. as a side note, finding the HOLY GRAIL in a king arthur game should be a meaningful moment, not one trick's worth of points.
