Great live-play. I'm normally not interested in watching a play-through unless it's to learn the rules, but this was very entertaining. This game with the quick rules and fast play was a great fit for live-play.

Masterful display by Zee. Pretty much in control during the whole game. :D Mission Red Planet is such an awesome game, a timeless design. Difficult to believe this game was first made 17 years ago.

The intro is so goood (the rest is alright too 😂). Reminds me of Castles of Burgundy ... when all the tiles, base and exp, are mixed up. Good luck with sorting them out 😅

This game looks like so much fun! Definitely seems like it needs at least 3 players for good tension which is too bad as I struggle to get a really good, cohesive game group together. Fun to watch anyway, 😁

Hmm... This looks a lot more fun than I thought prior to watching a playthrough. Wonder if I should get this now, or wait and see if Stonemaier announces a reworking of it with anthropomorphic animals in Mission: Moon of Galecrest. 🤔

It was certainly enjoyable to watch and I appreciate the banter and explanations. Really fun game and I look forward to playing it. I do have one critique though and it's that the teacher of the game has more of a responsibility than just teaching people how to play, they really are helping people to enjoy the game. That means showing them mistakes in strategy and game utilization. It really rubs me the wrong way to see teachers crush new players just because they know the inter-mechanics of point scoring. As a teacher, I find much more joy in seeing other people win and thus enjoy the game than just racking up points on noobs

This is incorrect. The teacher's job is to clearly explain the rules. Then, play the game and allow people to discover the strategies for themselves. Otherwise, you've got the problem of the alpha gamer. Losing their first playthrough of a game shouldn't be enough to drive someone away from it. Discovery is a very large part of the enjoyment of the hobby!
