I love both of the earphones for the recent news the quality the richness in the sound hearing each instrument clearly to hear the drums just right here the base and the drum I don’t mind paying a little bit as long as the qualities is there I got some Jordanand the quality of the sound is beautiful. The base is rich and clear. I look forward to getting one of the other or if I had the money I’d get both but I’m retired you know thank you for your time. that’s why I love you hear everything to flow and match together and it just takes you off. It takes you away from everything and it makes me feel good. I taught myself to play drums and the only way I could is by listening to the music, the rhythms everything I can’t take you enough you made made my evening. I know what earphones I wanna get. I want quality not 90% but 100%.

OMG, subbed just on the basis of your intro alone. So nice to hear someone not talking about Bose/Sony/JBL. Personally, I love the Perl Pros I recently got and also the PI8s I've had a bit longer. Both are great and, subjectively, better than my Noble Fokus Prestige which I also like, just not as much. Now back to actually finishing the video, lol!

I use Denon Perl Pro for 3 months by now and they are at a lower price approx 150dollars. What I can say they are the only pair of headphones with which I found out that my ears need different ear plugs, when activating noise canceling and I listen to motivational talks is like I can dive in into what the reader/speaker is saying. They are the only ones that really offer a customized experience and pair perfectly with each device. I have Fiio DACs plus wired headphones and when it comes to sound from Bluetooth they sound the same as using the Dac. I bought my second pair now just to have them if the first one will broke.

Ordered the Pi8...my best pair are the Nothing Ear. So will be comparing with those. Agree with the sound quality with bluetooth buds are now the option for sound. On par with my Grado over ears/ perhaps better!

The Fiio BT11 goes on sale next Tuesday. I'll be purchasing 1 so I can take advantage of aptX lossless with my Pi8s.

Me too! However, I've used the perl pros with the creative BT5X i think they're called? but they don't use your sound profile from the Denon app =\! Still, the sound quality is a nice bump up. Hopefully the Fiio BT11 has better compatibility.

I have both and although I really like the AZ80's for sound quality and feature set, the Pi8's are in another league for detail, clarity and soundstage - simply the best out there now.

Pi8's hands down! The AZ80'S have a much better feature set, better ANC and transparency but they do not compete with the Pi8's for pure sound quality, end of story!

Hello there I have plenty of earbuds and headphones including the 1000xm4s, Px8s and oneplus 3's and I'm very interested in the Pi8's but I keep seeing reviews that say they don't go very deep into the sub bass territory which is important to me as I love many genres from Floyd to electronic Jazz, metal and loads of Drum n Bass and my Px8s are fantastic but they do disappoint a bit in the sub bass dept... Any insight into this would be great as its a decent investment and I'd hate to have to grab other buds when I'm seeking the Basslines... 😉

Thanks for the great review! In own the denon pearl pro and I cannot agree more there sound is on a whole different level compared to others, I also have the AirPods Pro 2 wich i use for work simply because there noise canceling and ambient sound is really good and the sound is pretty good to and most importantly there comfortable. But they can’t come close to the denons.. I’m eagre to try the pi8’s sometime and also I have heard the new JBL tour pro 3 have come to a new level where they can rival these buds so I also would like to try those sometimes.

I just got the Denon at half price and its gone from a good product at its original price to a total steal I just wish there was a version with ear hooks cause I like to do gym stuff and don’t like losing an earbud mid set

Researched extensively online on what’s currently out there & I’ve got these two beauties & the Gemini 2’s on my final list ie the more expensive end 😮. I have Shokz bone conductor buds for outdoors garden landscaping/gym but want better for focussed listening. Thanks for the contribution & I get the point U favour the Pi8’s. But am intrigued with Denon’s ability to assess how I hear music. Therefore, the Denon will respond differently to each of us as listeners. I cud do with buying both to decide BUT hey! that’s not going to happen. I listen to all genres rock n metal to Mozart/opera & most in between. Difficult one 🤔

DENON pros are amazing, but you have to try the sound profiling a few times to find a great sound, because strangely, it comes up with a different one every time. Seriously, if you're still looking, I would buy them, and they have come down in price in the UK. I absolutely adore the Perl pro.

I have had the pricier earbuds having the BW pi7 before but battery life sucked and kept falling out. I love all kinds of music as well and have always wanted the higher end so I could hear quality. Well I have been searching and have watched many reviews on denon and found they bought Nura which I remember were really good. Just being compared to the Pi8s is a compliment in itself. I looked them up on Amazon and they are on Black Friday for 150! It was as if the universe was saying these are the ones for you 😅 Quality sound at a fraction of the cost was a no brainer 😉

Funny how these two earbuds are the exact ones that I kept after trying many different buds. They’re amazing in their own way. When I want that deep bass I put on the Perl pro. I like when I put them on and greeted welcome back. Pi8 clarity and soundstage is incredible, bass not as deep as the Perl pro but so fun to listen with.

Yo Everyone in the Audio Community. I discovered a fatal flaw in the Pi8's. Mine were brand new yesterday from John Lewis cost £349.99 and I maxed out the EQ and Volume with Noise Cancelling ON and played this track kzbin.info/www/bejne/fHvbhaBpbJeao7Msi=r6q1Zrn0X3cKr1m9 by Mark Spence 2 The Floor. On boths Earbuds ran loud, nasty crackling distortion where the drivers could not handle it or clashed with the Noise Cancelling. I urge you to test this for yourself. You may want to return them fast.

As far as sound goes, the PI8 are in a league of their own. The sound filled a hole in my heart that I didn't know I had. Music on all my other buds and music devices doesn't sound right now.

That being said, I returned mine. My problem with the PI8 is The app is finicky oftentimes not connecting and for some reason the buds would never just go in and secure themselves. I would always and constantly have to resecure the buds. I even tried buying the new tips that helped a little bit but it was never a good comfortable fit. And then the sound was inconsistent. When the sound was good it was out of this world but then other times the sound just sounds off. So overall they were too inconsistent for me. And honestly it broke my heart to take those back to the store.

Average as are all the features including ANC and call quality. The Pi8's are all about the sound, which is unmatched by anything else. Nothing even comes close.

Haven’t heard them, couldn’t find them. But I have the Pi7S2 and they’re not that good Sound int I have better sounding earphones, like the Denon here and the Technics AZ80. I want to buy the Pi8, but For Yale the price the Technics and Denon are hard to beat.

Sir, you have a great channel, but MAN it's so boring to listen to. Make it mlre fun for us to listen to. You speak on the same tone for minutes and minutes... you waste time on unboxing earbuds...
