As crazy as this sounds; this has been my favorite tournament to watch out of all pro tour events this season; skill shots in the woods with realistic pin placements; just feels more like real disc golf to me.

MJ and Dickerson in the woods... Reminds me of so many great memories from when I lived in NC. Used to watch those 2 and/or Barry battle it out in the woods so, so often. I'd bet no one saw MJ more in 2016-2018. There's just no way. Of course, that Paul guy's not too bad, either. Thanks so much for this footage, Terry!

Must say, immensely enjoy the incredibly technical commentary Hannah provides. Paul must breakdown every single factor and use a decision-making tree that removes personal bias in a given shot and disc selection. For the most part, I play on gut feeling. But this is very well thought out, taking in a plethora of factors in order to achieve the best outcome.

I 2nd this comment. Awhile back I watched a video Paul put out about how he looks at a course when practicing for a tournament and it was very interesting. Hannah takes Pauls knowledge, breaks it down into information that is even more useful and informative for the listener.

Love hearing Hannah on the coverage, and to answer your question, shorts... always! This is actually my home course and even if it's not hot, it's always humid so shorts are a must... also much easier to jump into creeks in when u shank a shot 🤷‍♂️

I love the science of disc golf by Hannah McBeth. Please bring Hannah back anytime she is willing. This is such a fun tournament to watch and a great course. I wear pants and I have removable sun sleeves for any course that mentions poison ivy in a review. The sleeves have become a staple because I don't have to use sunscreen on my arms so my hands don't get greasy.

I'm a shorts guy all year. To the extreme that one new years day tournament in Indiana the TD made it a part of his day prior Facebook post that "if Curtis wears shorts we are only playing 18 of the 24 holes". And that remains my only pants tournament (it was 7 degrees Fahrenheit).

I always wear shorts (weather permitting) but this weekend it was a little cold and rainy for my 2nd ever tournament Ever and I wore pants and while doing the lunch break I threw a disc in some water and I tried finding it but ended up soaking my pants and not finding my disc :( i still tied for first but lost in the playoff. Still had a blast Tho!!!

All 3 of them are thousand plus rated players. THey know their stuff. In fact Hannah quotes Big Jerm on her commentary... some of the advice he's given. I just find that they trail off their commentary and go off on random ass tangents about stuff that isn't about the game sometimes. And it clashes with their product

Attire depends on the course, if it’s heavily wooded (pants and a hat) or if its open with minimal brush (shorts and visor)

I always go with shorts. I definitely feel less tired and sweaty than wearing long pants. Also just feels better when throwing or having to stretch out far from a tricky lie. My dad however always goes for longer pants. What I will say though is that I often come away from my rounds with red blotchy legs and cuts from all the thorns and poison ivy... so maybe I should wear pants or "simply" stop throwing into the thick woods lol.

I live in a area that has a lot of tics. For that reason, I wear pants during most of my rounds regardless of the temperature. I also wear long sleeve UPF protected shirts. Overall, I don't get much warmer than I would with shorts and t-shirts.
