Of course I’ve seen this one (I’ve spent weeks digging through all your wonderful music) - I’m so proud to know you two. Mat & Sophie - you are amazing. So very special.

I do not understand why this awesome piece of music hasn't got more views and likes! I'm blown away by the fact how you guys manage to arrange all the loops to make it sound that perfect. Combined with an all natural attitude that puts a soul to each and every song. I watched several vids in the meantime and they got all that very special something. One thing's for sure, you got a new follower from now on. Greetz from Germany!

Oh thanks so much Thomas that's so kind of you. We're over the moon that you came across our stuff and enjoyed it - it certainly takes a long time to get it slick, so it means a lot that you got a kick out of it:) Funnily enough, Germany is where these pedalboards were made!! 🇩🇪

Never thought about doing this song as a duet. It so works. The samples are perfect. I can’t imagine the time it took to get that whole rig together and to learn all the looping changes. So damn good!

Wonderful job as always. Having some basic experience using a looper, I can't even imagine how you guys plan these out!

Hi Jake - thank you very much. Sometimes they come together easily, and other times we have to slam our heads into a brick wall for a full week before we get anywhere... The secret is in hiding which is which from the viewer.

Ah thanks Jon - you're clicking on all our favourite videos, so our musical tastes must be somewhat aligned :) Really appreciate you stopping by and keep up your great performances! We're just listening to 'Midnight Train To Georgia' on your channel... it's wonderful!!!
@geoff-l3v3 жыл бұрын
@@TheDistanceDuo There's a bit of a buz on the strings here and there on that Midnight train. It was the pick up creating it. I live your channel, just give some time to get through all of those great songs.

Haha! Yes!!! Each and every one of those vinyl sleeves was pinned to the wall by us just so you could enjoy this video. And they said we would never amount to anything... ;) Thank you so much for your time tonight Chris, we're so sorry we kept you so long and hopefully we can leave those gain knobs alone until the gig xxx

10/10. Would listen again. Will you do a Goodbye moonmen cover in the future?
@TheDistanceDuo4 жыл бұрын
Hi David, thanks so much for watching! Until you asked, neither of us had heard the song Goodbye Moonmen... now we have, though, we love it... so thank you! We've added it to the ever-expanding list... Because we don't earn anything from our YT content, we have to charge a fee for requests which makes you a video sponsor. We stick your name on the video as well as a link to your business or project etc, and you get a full res copy all for yourself along with a studio quality audio recording. If that sounds interesting, drop us a message via our website at www.thedistancelive.com/requests

Perfect song choice for your musical style. Sounds amazing and such an interesting room to record in! (The blue lighting is dope.) The whole time I'm wondering how you did it live since the sound is so tight it seems like a studio recording. Very impressive and I'm looking forward to checking out the rest of your stuff.
@TheDistanceDuo3 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much! Haha - that's actually our living room, although as you can see we don't do a huge amount of day to day living in it!!! Sophie is a wiz with lighting and set dressing, and Mat is fully prepared to go up a leddar if there's no way around it, so, perfect team, really 😂😂 Thank you so much for stopping by again and we're very happy that you're enjoying our stuff.

This was ambitious. Nice job. It's just your lack of an icelandic accent that gives it away that this isn't the record version.
@TheDistanceDuo2 жыл бұрын
Oh wow that's a huge compliment, thank you so much! Haha yes we though about faking the accent, but that may have juuuust tipped the scales in favour of a copyright claim 🤣
@arvincharles2 жыл бұрын
I totally get it about copyright claims! It's definitely a balancing act sometimes.
