I have been dying to share these ideas with you guys!! These are my favorite t-shirt Upcycles!! All of them are so legit, I would have 100% sold them on my website when I had my clothing line.
I decided to include 2 classics (the padded shoulder tee and the split front tee) because this is a T-shirt Upcycles video after all! But the 2 Piece Set, the Lace-Up Dress and The Fringe Dress are new, fresh and so cool!
A few of these are no-sew hacks and a few are sewing. For those of you who know how to sew, I would recommend just sewing them all. It will give you more longevity and an easier time with washing.
Run to the thrift store and load up on some cool men's tees. Not only will you find great graphics but they are always cheaper than women's tees. (insert eye roll emoji here)

FAQ
Do not machine wash fringe
Make sure that whatever lace you chose for the dress can be machine washed.
To cut your sweats into shorts; fold you pants in half, lignin up the waistband, the crotch and the hem to make sure they're perfectly in half.
Cut shorter on the outside and longer on the inside for a flattering fit. Save the pant legs for a project like this!

What drugs are you on??? I was putting the biggest shoulder pads on the planet into my claude Montana suits in the 80's...the shoulder pad goes thickest part outwards, you want the shoulder to be lifted away from the body, no in the middle of the collar bone.

Love your videos! This one is so creative. I do have to point out that you put your shoulder pads in backwards, though. The thicker straight edge goes to the outside and the thinner rounded edge goes on the neck side to create a smooth shoulder. Cheers!

oh how cool you had a clothing line. Yea here it is summer here. I did grow up in So Cali. But love where I am now. Did it for kids and well housing beautiful and inexpensive when I came up here. Wow! Dealing with tv star here. I am going to do the tee. I did some things today with what I had from your videos. I still love that peplum top & the fringe and now the different tee's, Yep left the sewing stuff at big house here liek the matt and ruler and good machine but I told my sis who sews too so told her about you so once she moves too. We can talk on phone about your videos - we did that about the sewing tv programs which we got bored with. Started with the quilting there. But years of sewing clothes and things for home for both of us and painting. I am seeing rompers everywhere. I am crazy about the grommet tape. My friend does jewelry too. And is making a vase for me her friend who is an artist so fun to find these people with incredible ideas. Hey we all do those things

I took a pair of sweats that had wide cuffs (instead of tight, ankle hugging they were 'flappy') and made shorts. Because I'm not as tiny, young, or cute as you, I added the cuffs to the bottom. Turned out adorable! I love that they make the shorts just a bit longer and snugger, but not right. Now I'm going to have to play with the legs and a t-shirt!!
