Very helpful! Love your humour napkins addiction indeed! Got a ton of William Morris napkins very cheaply at French shop online to make classic fireplace surrounds! Did you see Escape to the Chateau S9 ep1 she makes tiled table top like patchwork quilt fab! Saw a lady Pat Elrich? (Top5 decoupage tips) She uses stretched plastic wrap to press the napkins on and shield work as she smoothes out to avoid tears....been using catering/party sites to get more napkins cheaper❤ thanks for sanding block tip lmao some use sandpaper Pat uses giant nailfiles your block looks best!

Brandi, this is such a wonderful decoupage video !!!👍👍I'm getting a sponge tomorrow! Last year 3 of us got together & took wooden words( blessed. gather , etc.) & decoupaged them, then lit the extra paper with a lighter, which burned right up to the exact edge of the letters!!They turned out soo good! It worked! Use with tissue paper & napkins on wood ONLY!!! We had a Lil wine & tried scrapbook paper , we almost started a 🔥! Kept a bucket of water close by then !!..ha ha Thanks for all the tips & tricks!!! Great job!! Be safe & TFS, my talented friend ❤!!

Thank you Connie! I am so happy I could help with new information....Oh yes, This is what I was saying in the video about a burn method for removing the extra napkin. I looked into that and its just not my cup of tea. I burned a few napkins on some furniture for a vintage farmhouse look and those bits get a little braisen and sometimes fly where ever...lol This is THE DIY STRUGGLE....lol I do not need EXTRA help trying to burn my DIY's down I almost do that enough...lol.. It is totally a cool concept and I appreciate the people who have mentioned it, it is just not for me...lol That is awesome you and your friends get together and do that. Mine all think it is my job to cook for them when we gather..lol

Brandi, this video is wonderful!!! Lots of great info! I absolutely love decoupaging and mod podge is what I use. However, despite my “experience” (lol), I’ve learned a lot from watching how you do it. That dry sponge thing is a gift from above. It makes a huge difference! The only time a sponge has been more useful has been when used as a contraceptive. 🤣🤣🤣 I’m kidding, don’t block me please lol! I remember the first time I tried mod podging. I asked a crafty coworker how much I should use and she suggested the same amount as when doing paper mache. Can you imagine??? Girl, I was covered in mod podge…my paper was practically a soggy ball of wrinkly disintegration…and my mood was quite poor indeed. 😂😂😂 She must have hated me and I didn’t even know it. 😝 Thanks for the tips and tricks! Sending all kinds of love and happy thoughts! 🌼🍃💛
