The protection portion gets all of the pub but it’s the obedience portion that separates the “dogs” from the “puppies!”

Some say that the dog was glued to the handler. Handler please respond to this accusation.
@FlyLabTech6 жыл бұрын
I noticed the dog took about 6 steps after the PLATZ command on the send-out at 7:05, seems like a lot. I think an instant down and skid to a stop is more dramatic and convincing. What is that rubber band hanging out of the handler's left sleeve, e.g. 0:58?
@TheDoberNut6 жыл бұрын
the send away was still fine its all just down to preference how you want the dog to down and also sometimes down to genetics and how its taught. and no its a wrist band everyone who enters the stadium as a spectator has to have it on to show they have brought a ticket

yeah at speed it s preferable the dog just breaks instantly and tumbles a bit so your tight ass is satisfied, get the fuck outta here.

at 4:25 the handler steps on the dog's tail as he's throwing the dumb bell,the dog reacted for an instant yet chose to stay locked in retrieve mode and not disengage...training,drive or a combo of both????
@TheDoberNut7 жыл бұрын
I would say it was the drive for the dumbbell mainly
@bitedawg7 жыл бұрын
I agree,however..had the dog chose to disengage it could have destroyed his excellent score.here's my training question..did the dog stay in discipline due to inherent drive or a known consequence for disengagement?

It looks like he didn't really step on it (his heel wasn't down on it)

Parada !! Jen nevim a rad bych vedel, jak trenovat posledni disciplinu - sprintem pryc ? Jak motivovat psa, aby tak razantne vypalil od psovoda ? Diky za pripadnou radu ..

handler help with his hand
@bitedawg7 жыл бұрын
possibly by moving the hand outside o the dogs head on the "front to fuss",a lot of handlers are doing this but it may be viewed as"handler help",i think one of the judges at a major event commented on this,and on a couple of "fuss" commands,the dog wound up slightly behind the handler...otherwise,a great performance..the "blue print" for IPO!
