That really IS a special announcement! Congrats! And I don't know if you realize you did this, but it was really cute the way you made the little heart sign with your hands when you hugged your bump. A suggestion on the eggroll deconstruction for those who want to make the prep even quicker - you could probably replace the sliced cabbage with broccoli slaw. Not 'exactly' the same but it would be pretty similar and save a step! One thing I would change in the jerk shrimp. You really ought to clean out those digestive tracks. Not only would your video look prettier, but there are some of us out here whose stomaches were turned off by the sight. That's a prep step I would never skip.

And ice cream of course, but I always crave ice cream ;) But what's funny is that I have not been able to eat fish or mushrooms (two of my very fave foods) in months :( I'm sure the appetite for them will come by eventually though :)

Love these ideas! I got the ingredients to make the buffalo meatballs and deconstructed eggrolls. I already made the egg roll bowl but it needed a little something extra. Adding lime juice and garlic salt did the trick.

Congratulations....in the buffalo mince can you use just normal cheddar cheese? Note in the rice n peas you really should salt the liquid water prior to adding the rice so it cooks in it as will give a different taste to you adding it after and us the traditional way as you will use moreby adding it after (not good for people who suffer with blood pressure).

Your rice and peas is a staple for every meal in Jamaica, where it is called "stew peas and rice." I was in Jamaica in 1991 studying the differences between their British legal system and our American one. In Kingston, I ate stew peas and rice one morning for breakfast with fried plantain and brown fish, complete with head and eye. A classmate walked in, saw my plate, and immediately left the café. She didn't eat until lunch. The meal was delicious even if it was a bit off-putting.
