How to fix rocksmith: Go to your windows sound devices after plugging it in and go to levels. It defaults to 17. Crank that to 100 then you'll never miss a note.

You can stop the lagg by installing drivers that can handle it (ASIO Audio Stream Input/Output), a good one is ASIO4ALL it works on like almost any pc. (I use it for recording music without lagg)

To eliminate lag set your speaker default format to 16 bit, 48000 Hz DVD quality and your rocksmith cable to 1 channel, 16 bit, 48000 Hz DVD quality. If you google rocksmith 2014 latency pc there's an official post on the forums with the instructions. It worked for me. I hope it works for you too :)

Hey Dooo, there's some stupidly expensive cable made for this game. It's essentially a 1/4 Jack to USB. Just plug it right into your PC or Xbox or whatever and it picks up way better than a mic, as well as little to no delay. Just want to through that out there. my theory is that the cable has a component which converts the signal into mida data, which would allow the system to know what notes you are playing, so Its probably a 1/4 to usb cable and also a midi converter

There's a way to fix the lag through using analog connections. There are a few forums online on how to do it. For me, just sticking an optical cable, I think it was, in the back of my ps4 and hooking it up to some speakers made a big difference.

so i've noticed lately, that there is a very very small delay at all times... But if the delay ever gets more than that, I restart the ps4, not just the game.. Once I get back into the game, it will seem much more responsive..

Since your ears are so musically trained i doubt you will ever be able to reduce the lag to a point where you don't notice it but apparently there is an issue that can cause unintended lag and there is a fix for it somewhere on the internet. I don't notice any lag when I play but I'm using the guitar that came bundled with the game and I'm also super new to guitar playing so maybe I just don't notice the lag. PS Also subbing for the pantera Solo @ 5:09

The LAG is "normal" if the you have the sound out of a TV/screen, and it is transmitted from your console via HDMI-cable. To fix this you should use a different cable, or a headset. This eliminated the LAG for me at least ;) Have a good one!

So hilarious that you played White Lion. They came to a Bar in Dundalk Md. And I was their driver for the evening and they had me find them a rave party to go to after the show. This was in like 2007 and I was only 24. They were some of the most party drugged up old dudes I've ever seen. It was awesome. The show was great too.
