Ohh my goodness....Raag Jaijaiwanti is soo rich.!! SHRINGAR KI DEVATA...Qawwali is probably the only only genre which can present such a raag with soo much intricacies and boundaries in such an effortless heart touching way .... Blessed to hear Akhtar Saheb... Baraste raho.. Barsate raho!!!

The publishers of the version by Munni Begum have filed a copyright violation against us even though Mareez e Muhabbat was sung by Fareed Ayaz’s family back in the 1960s much before Munni Begum sang it. We are in discussions with them to help remove the violation strike..

I've always visited Dargahs and paid my respects in the past but the lyrics of this qawwali lay bare the fraud of sufisim in India. They're glorifying Mahmud Ghazanavi and that show ls up how intolerant sufi Islam really is. Thanks for opening my eyes and I hope this does something similar for other Sanatanis who swallow the myth of Ganga Jamna Tehzeeb...Jai Hind, Jai Sri Ram, Har Har Mahavldev
