That was the best review of the M3Pro I've seen!!!! Make me want one even more!!!!! 👏👏👏👏 It's just amazing how ground breaking this model is, is so small but have image quality and features comparable to Drones 5 times more expensive!!!! (just 1 thing, the 7x camera of the Mavic 3, doesn't have the same image quality of the Mavic 3 pro 7x, the newer model is much better.)

Hi mate me again, great video btw its a shame there's no zoom in standard picture mode where as the mini pro 4 could seams daft...but just wondering if you can do more videos on the Mavic 3 pro after watching videos i up graded from a mini 4 pro to the Mavic 3 pro but id love to see one of your expert videos going over every thing in detail like you did with the 4 pro.. Great video ! However....In what mode did you record the example shots ? Around 10:30 ...the quality is not good at all...Very blocky, artificially sharpened....Even at the main camera... was it shot in d-log ? I have a Mavic 3 and I was hoping some improvement in quality with the 7x camera, but this is worse, sorry...

Well its 58 gramms to heavy for european rules.. you are not allowed to fly over any people with that drone because she is over 900 gramms ... C2 and A2 - you need to have a flight licence with test and registered. And thats only because she is around 60 gramm to heavy. A barrier for many pilots.

Great stuff as always. I always find myself watching your videos at least four times! Living in NI myself and knowing the flight restrictions we are under would you suggest buying the Classic or Pro. I shoot stuff for the Press and Newspapers. I've already got the Mini 3 Pro and love it. Really want a heftier drone for bad weather and hopefully better quality videos but I'm torn between the two Mavic 3's. Which one would you grab off the shelf if you could choose only one?

If you use explorer mode, it will switch from camera to camera as it zooms,

Yeah, however you can't use manual video mode in explorer mode so it's not ideal for recording video.

Either saving it as 3 clips or even layered how you would do in video editing would be incredible. But datarate becomes a problem here, 3x 4k60 streams is too much data to store simultanously. Maybe on the cine version with the integrated 1TB SSD it might be possible, but definitely not on micro sd cards. I think if developers get acces to the apk it might be possible to do it in a 3rd party app with 3x 2k30 streams, maybe even 3x 2k60

The real question is, is worth it to ditch the Mavic 3 for this model. Earlier was way better when DJI released pretty rare new model, now they are like iPhones every year. I don’t want to spend that much money every year

But if there’s a new feature that you need (perhaps to, compete, make money or take just shots you couldn’t otherwise get with your current model) then a new purchase would be more justified. Sell the old one to partially fund the new one.

Matthew, Every time I watch your videos it costs me Money! :) I bought my Mini 3 Pro last November due to your videos. I am an Epidemic subscriber because of your videos. And now.....I will soon own a Mavic 3 Pro (due to your videos!) Geezzz, what more do want from me!??? Seriously, I always do a great amount of balanced research (for any product I purchase). However when it comes to drones/cinematography, your videos become my final deciding factor (which I greatly appreciate). Guess the "influencing" thing really does work? :) P.S. I would love to see a video on your workflow process using Epidemic, to see how you manage/sort determine tracks for each specific project. Thanks again!

Will this work with the mavic 3 hard cases? I need a quality waterproof hard case as I will be taking this when kayaking and documenting hazards. Any suggestions? I take my part 107 test monday morning. Our crew needed another drone pilot. I stopped flying my mini 2 because of the FAA overreach but tried it again for our non profit. Sadly I saw that it wouldnt work for our needs. I was looking at options and eying the Mavic 3 when the rumors of the 3 pro started coming out. It coudlnt have happened at a better time. I confirmed the specs and ordered the 3 pro with the rc pro controller at 0910. Now to wait impatiently for it to arrive then hope for good weather after that.

Correct me if Im wrong but adjusting aperture on a drone will have little to no real affect on the depth of field right? Because there is typically so much distance between the drone and subject almost everything will always be in focus anyways. The mini 3 pro has a fixed 1.7 and everything is always in focus for the most part.

That would require a good amount of distance to be true. Generally it’s good to set aperture at f/8 to f/11 when shooting landscape in order to guarantee total sharp depth of field. 1.7 is very wide open.
