I interpreted it as Goku never wanting to willingfully inflict pain & suffering in a cruel way against anyone-even his opponents but after witnessing what Frieza just did to Krillin a part of him wants Frieza to feel what all of the others felt when he tortured and toyed with Goku's friends and Namekians before ending them.

Though, it seems like your Gohan smokes a few more packs the original Funi dub did. All jokes aside, I really love this dubbing of this scene! Goku's dialogue reminds me a lot of the dialogue he had in Cooler's Revenge, which is my favorite version of the character.

Bloodmoon 115 I'm sorry Gohan's voice may have taken you out of the scene with my portrayal. I'll try to do scenes that don't necessarily involve the character as much going forward. Child voices are much harder for my baritone voice to do. Thank you for the feedback as well as the kind words.

Bloodmoon 115 Thank you. I needed that. That's very kind of you to say. Gohan was a voice I could do when I was younger, but just like with anything--you get older and things change. My voice got deeper, and while doing characters like Goku became far easier, someone like kid or even Teen Gohan became next to near impossible for my range.

It’s not the same script as the original, but you still manage to make it work, and that aggression in your words, it’s perfect. But one minor critique I would make is that the grunting that leads to the scream is a bit weirdly paced. Other than that the rest was fine. Hope you continue making vids and improve on your impression!

Yeah, I agree. This was about 3 years ago now and nowadays I’d have to pitch myself to do younger characters. When I was younger those sort of voices were much easier to me, but with age some voices had to go and others I gained a better grasp on.

TimWhat? It's not a voice I can do as well as others, I know. My voice is much deeper, so doing a voice typically done by an actress is much more difficult. But, for a few seconds here I figured I'd just do the voice to fill the gap and do the scene.
