Just to clarify, this matchup was not the Kickstarter vote. In the Death Battle Kickstarter, there was a REMATCH POLL, so basically an old Death Battle got voted on to now have a modern Death Battle. No spoilers on what won, but I just wanna clarify this episode was one of the many that wasn't told to us. Now a fun fact, this matchup was on a 2D Death Battle poll to get made for an episode for season 10. But of course, it didn't win and Bill Cipher vs Discord won.

Asura's Wrath is similar to God of war being a Hack and Slash. Both characters are pretty similar because of their pasts so it makes sense this is the next Death Battle. In terms of past Death Battles to react to with Kirby, I think Dante vs Bayonetta would be a good one since not only is the episode itself amazing, but it would also be cool to see you revisit the episode after having played the Devil May Cry series. Other episodes that I’d like to see you two react to together include Saitama vs Popeye, Balrog vs T.J. Combo, All-Might vs Might Guy, Guts vs Dimitri, Goku vs Superman (2023), and He-Man vs Lion-O. What's funny is that the Fall Guys didn't intend to kill anyone, nor were they even focused on fighting the majority of the battle, they were only focused on getting the crown. Every other Crewmate death on the obstacle course was completely accidental, just a fun way of showing they aren't tough enough for those obstacle course. Pink Fall Guy only fought back because of the threat of losing the crown

Nope. Wally, Sonic, Barry, Spongebob, at very least. Asura is the demi god of Wrath, he gets more powerful the more angry he becomes. He gets to beating super high tier gods, like planetary to multiversal. They were gonna do Asura vs Broly but like Alex Mercer vs Carnage (shifted to Cole McGrath) they switched it to Kratos upon hearing the huge fan base for all their many, many similarities to each other. Instead they gave Asura Kratos and Broly Hulk. The kicker is that Asura grows stronger and adapts over time. And I don’t mean Dragon Ball adaptation, I mean like IN A FIGHT adaptation like Hunter Prey Doomsday. He doesn’t need to die like them, he just gets better in the middle of a fight, going from being stomped to being so strong his opponents could be one shot. And he’s also capable of coming back from the dead, also like Doomsday. Though he doesn’t use weapons, the man doesn’t need them. He’s a beast on his own, no need for gauntlets this or gun that.

Tbh, I would say not to skip it cause just to be realistic with you. If it's taken you years and years to even touch Zelda, Metal Gear, etc. Plus you do not even have a PlayStation, I would just watch it! Not to mention DevilArtimis is animating and it's honestly Bowser vs Eggman levels of hype for the matchup. So I would recommend just watching it.

It's not my favorite episode but it's the most iconic one, imo. Also, I don't think you need to skip Kratos vs Asura even if you want to play God of War eventually. Being spoiled on the story won't affect your enjoyment of the games or their emotional impact.

Here’s a few faster feats that have been in last DBs off the top of my head: Last time both Time Eater and the Lumas’ universe crossings were faster SpongeBob’s string feat was faster by something like 10^65 times In the Mega Man Battle Royale, Megaman.exe searching the universe DBZ’s universe shockwaves (especially after multipliers) Wonder Woman catching the broken god I don’t remember what it was, but I’m pretty sure Superman, Darkseid, and Thor all also had something faster, and obviously the characters who exceed the bounds of time like The Flashes and Archie Sonic were faster.
